tl;dr: Marth is a good character. Period. Ike is a bad character. We can counter the pros of Ike. We cannot counter Marth's pros easily if at all.

lol @ marth having semi guaranteed follow ups. Half the cast has throws that set up for things just as well but do 2-4 times the amount of damage up front.

marth has a decent grab, and some nice release options, obviously his grab still serves its purpose better than ganondorf, ivysaur or zero suit because it can actually punish people, but his throws are pretty awful.

Think people gonna hate, love Peach more now. I came up with 3 new things that I am testing out on the entire cast to finish a stock under 100-130 , rack up 24+ % of damage bewteen 50-100% and a legit bomb kill which requires port priority if no platforms aren't over you. I'm kinda hype for this. I'm keeping the notes on my laptop as usual for experiments and comparing results.

Well, since the throws of marth were brought up over and over again... Throwing is good in general because it gets you a good positional advantage not simply extra percentage. I like Marth's throws because they are quick and cover a variety of possible DI patterns you might have on someone. At the very least, you dthrow/Fthrow/Uthrow, and you know have them locked in the sky or near the ledge.

Although, its brawl marth, so I am not entirely certain if Marth wants to grab in the first place. In melee its pretty clear you want too because it leads into many things. In brawl, nothing leads into anything really, so I wonder if Marth would rather prefer to do something other than grab if he has the option.

It was at first. So I decided to explore this some more. The only thing that is situational is the bomb kill. Though I am experimenting. As for the other 2 options, I can make it work.

You call a character that does well against high tiers garbage? Cause of one character who also shuts down nearly the whole cast? You know how silly you sound right now? Though this is the typical mentality of a smasher, so I am never surprised When I hear things like this. People who think like you give me an easier time in matches to beat them then I should be having. Which I don't even get better from or learn much.

And on the topic of that match up, I also have a way to make the meta knight match up much more doable for Peach. This I will be testing out for the first time 2morrow at a smashfest. I been on this for a week.

People are comparing Ganon to Sopo? Ganon can pseudo-chaingrab the whole cast reasonably well and even 0-death MVD. Ganon still has a very good uair and a decent bair. Keep him onstage and he will put up a fight. It's not like Ganon, Link or Sopo or whatever will recover anyways.

Dat trash talk lol Sadly, I keep hoping good things for peach, but in the end I sort of have to agree. There are limitations with her character that simply cannot be over come. And I refer to when he gets hits. She has parsley defenses at best at getting down with that horrendous 2nd jump, bad airdodge, and worst fast fall in the game. The only way over come any of that is to simply be the better player.

I'm not about to get into this in here. All I will say is me and that state don't get along. I try to be cool with people and they all wanna be pricks.

As for you, I could easily say just come to SKTAR and MM me, so I could just mop the floor with your MK with my trash. But I am not gonna waste my time dealing with the likes of you for a tournament im wanna have a good time at. I don't wanna play nor talk to any ***** of the smash community there. And on that note, I brush this out of my head and focus on more important things. Experimenting with this some more, the problem with these finishers is the timing. Or else the kill won't connect. I'm trying to find the timing. I am like recording all of this, and having it on my PC and slowing down time and pausing the vid to see how this works and why.

The 24% + damage is legit though and works on everyone. So after I am dong getting someone from 0-60 I can pull this off and get them close to 90. If My method to get the finisher fails, I'm just gonna replace that with the bair trap. Force a get up and sweetspot upsmash. or spaced Fsmash if I feel lucky. I have about ten ways to land the bair trap very well. I just have not learned how to do the bair trap. I know how it works and what I need to do to pull it off. I need to talk to GIMR to tell me exactly how he does it.

I guess I should be flattered that you searched my name for representation of the matchup though. A video of Illmatic beating __X__ would be better, or at least me getting 3 stocked.

@Luco, don't believe everything you read on those charts. I guarantee you if stubborn Peach mains argue with someone like Espy, he would just concede because he there is no winning that. Ironic, because there is only 1 Peach main in this country thats ever made her look decent. And he still lost to the best Sonic despite being alot better than the rest of these guys.
