Okay, I have Brawl. Dark Peach is getting a lot of ****, and I guess I can understand why. Don't say you're great. You can say you're decent, and people won't get too pissed, but saying you're great, or one of the great melee Peach's, or something like that, it'll piss people off.
With that said, Peach plays WAAAAAAY different in this version.
Bad news would be the lack of FC, but she doesn't really need it, as almost all of her moves auto-cancel. She can still nair to double-slap on shields, but you can now be grabbed between slaps.
The Peach bomber has been HELLA buffed. It's kind of crazy, to tell the truth. It can now kill, in conjunction to being used to tech-chase.
DJC is gone, but you can still do it, kind of. What you do is double-jump, then float at the desired height, then do your aerial. Works like a charm.
I don't know why people are saying she can't kill, either. Her Fsmash was buffed considerably, gaining projectile recovering properties, and the ability to kill at lower percents for current metagame. The golf club is particularly noticable, killing below 100 on some stages. Just don't spam moves like you used to, and you'll be fine. Dsmash is garbage. Anyone who says it's okay is lying to themselves. It has low knockback, and does very little damage when compared to it's Melee counterpart. While I might have exaggerated with calling it garbage (you can still use it to wrack up damage), it's nowhere near as useful.
For those complaining about her turnip throw distance, have you tried roll-cancelling? It allows her to throw further, in conjunction to following right behind her turnip, for some pretty good pressure options.
She hasn't been massively nerfed, just changed drastically. She can't currently compete with Marth on FD very well, but does alright on platform stages, in my opinion. I'll be doing more research whenever I have free time, and I'll help you guys out for a while, but I ~may~ end up switching mains.
Also, double-slap has wicked knockback.
