I must say, after playing a few tournaments of 2-stock, I feel like I prefer 3-stock, or at the very least it would be nice to have some 3-stock tournaments to compare to.

It's a 1 hour train ride, but you've got to make sacrifices for smash sometimes.
Also, is there an estimation on how many set-ups there will be? It'd be a shame to miss out on some friendlies due to lack of set-ups.

Smash 4 will likely be low and with litle friendlies, especially at the start of the day. towards the end though setups will become available for friendlies. My goal is to have 8 Smash 4 setups btw

You will not need to be escorted, the room has its own toilets. And yes, there will be a streaming setup.

I would assume that there would always be at least one adult in the room for the duration of the event especially considering the turn outs for the Smash Gyms before Minors were allowed.

Maaaaaaan, and here we were making this massive effort to try and unlock customs on every character to set everything up, now I find out it isn't even needed!

The more 3ds that have complete sets the quicker it will be to transfer so it's a situation in which the more complete 3ds' there are the more legitimate the custom project becomes. So absolutely still complete it because it will only help out.

thats a big help thanks, the more people we have with all the customs the faster the posting process will be. When you get to the venue please come and see me. if you could set up all the custom sets listed in the custom move project thread beforehand, that would really helpful. @ Luco if you could do the same for which builds you can then that would be great to.

It was a fun day again, wish my pool wasn't till after lunch cause I spent 3 hours just watching. Didn't do great at all unfortunately, lost first round to my friend, won the first match of losers brackets then lost to my friend again in the next round.

Really wanted some more MU experience but Diddy is tough to fight against, no johns though, probably the best matches I've ever had with my friend but still a bit frustrated with the result.

Also hi, nice to meet all you other Smash 4 players. Figured now would be a better time than ever to actually make an account here. I'd actually attended a couple of Brawl tournaments in the past (such as ACL, think I made 5th?) under a different tag each time, so it's not actually my first time meeting a bunch of you, but hi, I'm the guy that hangs around with iKill.
Shoutouts to Tom/Summoner for the great tag (guess I have to stick to it now) and to everyone I played today for some fun games, especially Patv for eliminating me after sending me to losers in round 1 of pro bracket (I'll get a game off you eventually).

But yeah, it really has been a fantastic tournament guys. I'll do shoutouts tomorrow when I have the energy but thanks to each and every one of you who was there, it all felt so large and grand and the whole thing was a lot of fun, even if half the time I was sitting there on the verge of hyperventilating because of freakishly close games! =D

It was a lovely way to tap off into my year in Israel. I can't wait to see how everybody's doing when I come back later this year. ^_^

yeah man the seeding was a bit ****ed, props to gords for everything, but the seeding could have been done a lot better.
People who play all the time/are friends/are from the same state shouldn't be against each other early.

Also pools were pretty ****ed too, not having enough setups was nonsense, nobody should have to come to a tournament and wait 4 and a half hours, just to potentially only get to play 2 sets and thats it pack up and go home.
Thats an awful experience, the TO group will be having a big discussion on how best to prevent this from happening again, sorry for everyone who had to go through that, but hold tight and we'll make our tourneys amazing for you guys.

Sorry, video quality and audio levels are kinda bad because someone screwed with the stream setup without consulting me while I was dealing with my pool, and I didn't catch it until the end of the day. However, audio now no longer sounds like someone turned a drill on in your ear. Overall better quality than last time but not what it should have been. In future I will be much more strict about who is allowed near the setup and keep a closer eye on it myself, and there will also be new rules about who is allowed in the TO area in general, so hopefully this will not happen again.
