Smash 4 was never ment to be streamed, but shaya came with his Wifi thing and therefore i left Smash 4 in his hands and got the others to focus on console recording. you should contact shaya about Smash 4 vids, but assuming he has the option selected on his twitch the vods may be archived there

What's the go for smash city 3? Is that happening this month of in January? :)

I only ask because i'll be leaving to go to Israel for a little under a year on January 26th, so I won't be around for too long haha. :p

From what I have heard (not official and should be taken with a grain of salt) is that it is early in jan.

I'll let you guys know what my available dates are when I know them for sure; not that you guys are obliged to plan around them, I just mean if you're not particularly fussy about dates then i'd be happy to input some suggestions based on workable dates. :)

@ Luco Luco
Dates for tourneys are determined by
1. The availability of venues
2. Myself and/or @SummonerAU availibilty. To a lesser extent also @Zxv

Other than that no other availability, including your own, isn't considered individually when selecting tournament dates. We consider other events (other states tourneys, majors, expos, etc) and the scene as a group. We try to accommodate as many people as we can around the availability of those mentioned above.

Even though it is valuable information to let us know when you are likely able to attend events, such as this post

It is not appreciated that you push for events to be scheduled for the times you yourself are free, such as this

you seem to do this quite often and it really is just a waste of your time.

In response to those individuals whose availability are actually considered.
Both @SummonerAU and myself are visiting family over Christmas and I am in the process of moving to be out by dec 31st (Which rules out Dec for SC3). I am also leaving mid january to go to Apex 2015.
I can assure you though there will be another smash city before you leave and likely a smash gym or 2 as well.

Nah I understand. Very few people say much around here is all; and i'm so rarely on facebook, so it's more just pushing for information as it becomes available.

I apologise, though, and I didn't mean to come across as I did. :)

Jus a quick question, what's the difference between a smash city and gym? Is one smaller than the other or are they merely named differently?

Smash Gym is just a get together to practice and have some fun, Smash city is the actual tournament where you compete for a prize.

Smash gym also has a tourney but its more like a layed back tourney with no entry cost for the tourneys. There is still an entry cost to the venue.

You never let me know (which is fine, but...) whether you wanted me to work on getting customs on the 3DS. I've been a bit lazy with it recently, but I can work to get as many customs as possible on my 3DS so we can import them all to the Wii U. Chances are it won't be a problem, but meah, good to know asap just in case.

Awww yes. I'm free this day :surprised: Now its just a matter finding a gamecube controller that works and I should be fine >_>
Well funnily enough, all my wiichuks are disconnecting from their nunchuks atm, so my games are often interrupted because my controller thinks it doesn't have a nunchuk plugged into it anymore.

It makes me immensely sad. :(

And yes I play with a wii chuk.

Lookin forward to it already, I almost have all the customs unlocked on my 3ds at this point, almost, and I've been working on it everyday for the past week or so with good results. I'm sure someone has card that unlocks everything for it or something will be prepared if we're allowing customs again.

Yeah can you get working on it, that would be a giant help @ Luco Luco
I'll give you a character priority list soon as well.

So customs are going to be allowed? Stage List???

Pls put in the rules that anyone playing me must play on 3ds so we can play Tomodachi Life.

Bruh, just be patient.

If you have old gamecube controllers that DONT work, and thats because they've just worn out and stopped working over time there is a chance that all it needs is a clean which I can do for you if you bring it along.

My GC controllers have this weird thing where it works, but only if the wire is only placed into certain position, and even then they just don't work :ohwell:

well I mean I could still open it up and take a look at it for you if you want

sounds like the cord is just worn out though and the connecting wires or whatever are loose

WiiU rule set up. Check the OP
Sydney goers, let me know what you think of it.
Do you agree/disagree with any ruling.

Other details like new costs, venue address, venue rules and schedule will be updated over the next few days
Sorry for the late info.

Just a quick note - for a 3 stage neutral the winner of RPS should be striking second (the rule list you have there says they strike first)

The rule is the winner selects who gets first choice to strike (either themselves or their opponent) in the stage striking process, not that they have the first strike. I will reword it to make this more clear some time tonight.
