and im only level 100 and i can pull off about 20,000....hahah for game with big numbers and 100+ hours of gameplay (level cap is 9999 and you can reincarnate to level 1 and store about 100,000 levels...but why waste your life for stat boosts?)..its pretty ridiculous

btw ill try to bring another friend to this smash fest so it will be 3 of us....(he is a brawltard tho)

Alrighty guys, I updated the topic. I'm just bumping this so everybody is aware of it. >____>


I want everyone to try and plan around this. Unfortunately, this is happening on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, so some of you might not be able to make it simply because you'll be out of town. But the only reason I'm able to house Foy is because of Thanksgiving break at my school...

Anyways, I'm in the process of cleaning out my basement, as some of you who came to my fest last Saturday might have noticed. There will be more room once we're done, meaning more space for more people and more setups.


And why is it that nobody ever brings TVs to my fests? I only have 3 good ones and then another that completely sucks and is a ***** to get working...

Yeah, I needed to plan ahead a long while so I could set things up with Foy and MattDotZeb to come down. You can bring Brawl if you feel like it, but this is Melee-oriented and we probably won't be setting up Brawl unless a decent amount of people demand it. >_>

Also, we need more Melee players! Playing Melee is always a worthy cause, so even if you think you suck, come anyways! (And from what I gathered when I last played you at thesage's house, you're not terribly bad at Melee )


And Shinku...If I remember correctly...Your Marth like 3-stocked my Fox last time I played you. If you're "pretty bad", what does that make me?

Well I already know people here who play Brawl with some amount of skill. Some of them are good at melee too, but they don't really use advanced techs, which I'm trying to pick up. So I'm mostly coming to play melee, since I'm trying to start playing Mewtwo (He's terrible, but I love that nair...).

And I'm pretty much certain I can come on the 29th. I don't really make plans.

This should be an epic tournament. Hopefully more people can make it because of Thanksgiving weekend. Why not give thanks for a meta game in the Super Smash Bros. series?

P.S. - When are they gonna release the third SSB game anyways? I hope they make it with the intention of not ****-blocking all meta gamers.

It really is too bad I've had this date for at least two months and now that Chu decided to take the date FOUR AND A HALF HOURS AGO, he will get an inifitely larger amount of participants than my tournament will, assuming my tournament gets any participants at all!

I'm really doubtful right now that anybody will show up to this AT ALL because Chu's tournaments are so big.

So, votes right now: should I tell Foy and MattDotZeb to not bother coming down? Is anybody going to come to this at all?

Well, you could call off the current date, tell Foy and MattDotZeb to come down, and all just go to Chu's tourney. Honestly, Chu's tourney is big enough that attendance will probably be brought down significantly for your tourney, but if they've been planning to come down for a while now, you might as well go to a tourney and have some fun.

SypherPhoenix - Hey man, I had no idea that u were hosting ur tournament this date. Sorry about that. Why don't u guys come down to my tournament instead? and instead u guyz could maybe hold this on the friday before, or sunday like travis suggested since I know the turnout wont be that big anywayz. I'm just saying this from the previous tournament I went to that was yours.

U guys should seriously consider going to my tournament on saturday, and THERE IS MELEE!! I have no idea what people are talking about when they say "more smash" because people are always playing friendlies 24/7 at my place regardless =_=. All the competition which makes a player better is here as well. Melee Teams and Melee Singles will happen, and I hope that u guys can come down and attend. Especially u sypherphoenix, since I dont believe u've ever been to one of my tournaments before, and u live like 10 minutes away!.

I just don't want to split the community >.<. Let me know how all u guys feel, and I can accomodate with whatever u guys want. I always do ^_^.
