Considering Nintendo owes a lot of it's success to the strength of the Game and Watch games, I'll be amazed if he doesn't return.

And again, it's so vague that you can't really point fingers at any character. Duh, not everyone is returning. We know that.

I know, but it seems Mewtwo would be the only possible person not returning that had his own moveset. Or *gasp* Marth or Sheik? I would really hope it was Game & Watch, but I doubt it based on the icons...

edit: besides ness of course...I'd say Ness has no chance now.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that Serebii guy is talking about the starting roster, in which case, any characters could still be in as unlockables. If the starting roster is all that's being revealed how would his "sources" know who's in and out? All they'd know is who is not available from the start.

Serebii isn't always right. He posts a lot of stuff before other sites, but he also makes a lot of mistakes because of the rush to get it up first.

We know G&W is in. There's no reason for Marth of Mewtwo to leave.

The only one with any real explanation to be removed is Ness.

^^^ This, I couldn't see Mr. Game & Watch not be in Brawl, but there's always that chance...

Hmm...I'm trying not to get any of my hopes up for any characters on my personal list, but this is so exciting ^_^ so I may hope just a little bit more.

Basically what Seribii said was a simple rehash of what we already thought anyways. He isn't pointing to a specific character nor is he providing anything new. I wish you guys weren't so naive as to think just cause he heads a Pokemon website that he'd have some sort of connection with Brawl.

The alphabetizing part of it was, so that we couldn't prove which universes come next.

BUT the part regarding G&W's place is all but confirmed. Go to the icon theory thread and see for yourself. The icons are listed by what game the franchise debuted in. So, Starfox and Mario and DK and whatever, the ones that debuted in SSB64, are the first 10 (plus SSB Universe as #1)

Then, the next are the three universes that debuted in Melee (Fire Emblem, Ice Climber and G&W). Game & Watch is snuggled nicely between Fire Emblem and Ice Climber, so there's no way it can be anything else, given that the universes AFTER those three are all universes new to Brawl.

Game & Watch is in. It's proven.

Also, I've said it before, and I'll say it again. His sources are nothing more than people who get the magazine. He makes a big deal out of it because he loves attention and to feel important. Everything he knows is only based on the magazine we'll be seeing soon anyways and, according to him, will reveal the STARTING ROSTER for the game. Any debate about who's in and who's out will NOT change because they could still be secret characters.

1. We'll get the stinkin update about the stinkin starting roster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As someone who knows of Joe, he doesn't lie about this stuff at all, trust me. He leaked D/P info before the games came out on his site, which kinda stirred people a lot.

Yeah, it's about 12 PM (give or take a couple hours) in Japan. The scans should come up, if there are any. This is so odd, usually....scans come a couple days BEFORE public release.
