Free tourneys go different ways for different people. Some people try just as they would in another tournament, while others don't care. That inconsistency alone is enough to not count them, in my opinion.

I support MMs. If a player can't get to tourneys, MMs are a way to make up for it. If a player does both MMs and tourneys, more power to 'em.

how? i dont think its a handicap at all. all it means is that they will have less matches counted for them. if they still whoop up in tourney matches then its all good.


and i would like to think that free tournaments would be counted because they are tournaments. I dunno, atleast at UCSC it seemed like BTZO and Foxroar were going full strength*. But, I could be wrong.


*Other then BTZO playing Marth instead of shiek some matches.

I think I use a different censor bybass technique than Snap or NK. I'm pretty sure I do. I can tell when I highlight the word in question.

You're learning C#? I'm trying to pick up some basic programming so I can know how things are done. Maybe you could help me out. ^_^

the point wasn't that every great poster gets mod-ship, but in Silent's case, he's knowledgeable about his region (PacWest, more specifically Washington), he posts intelligently and he's an active and veteran member of smash boards.

Regional mods were chosen for being online enough, and being known enough by the smashers ion the region. they'd also have a remote idea on how to set a good example, and would not abuse power.
The character specific mods were chosen primarily from the handful of recently chosen regional mods who were willing to take the job, along with all other mods who were willing. it was basically first come first serve with some restrictions.
