the simple answer is 'why not'

we felt like we had enough to go on to make 16-20 as accurate as we made the rest of the list

for me personally, the goal is always to rank as may players as accurately possible; after all, i feel the goal of the rankings is to give players an idea of how they stand within/against the community, and more points of reference always serve that end positively

In case people can't tell by the presence of other humorous elements in the PR, the name thing is a joke, and temporary. Although based on some of the responses to past fake Norcal PR's, maybe I again overestimate people's forum skillz, or (unlikely) my sense of humor.

I went back and read a lot of the past of this thread, and it's interesting to see different people's patterns of how react to them. I'm still awaiting to see what place Adam thinks he could get on this list!

I also take it as a good sign that most of the comments have been about the format and not the placings themselves.
