If we rank Socal that comes to Norcal for the summer, does that mean we don't rank Norcal that goes to Socal for the summer? I would think intended continuing residency would be a criterion for being on the rankings.

this question has been running in my head also.
since i'm down in so-cal, am I able to be ranked for so-cal's next update and then be taken off the update after I move back up to uc merced?

Just so everyone knows, after the next tournament I will be releasing the player records for everyone to view. This way people can look at themselves or others wins and losses over this period. This will also show people the data the panelists look at and will let people better understand how the new rankings came to be. I see a lot of times people will try and argue against the rankings with false and/or lack of information for their claim.

no one's request to be off the list should be honored
if they want to be off the list, they can either lose a lot or stop entering tournaments
if you're still entering tournaments, you should be ranked if you deserve to be ranked
