Semi-important stuff that I need some help with:
My previous plans to get a tourney-venue at my friend's college didn't work out since he was too busy.
However, I found out that it's possible to host at places like Round-Table. Before I approach the managers, I need some info from you guys so I can give them realistic numbers/times.
1) If I got a tourney running around Sunnyvale, would you be interested in coming?
2) Is Saturday or Sunday better for you? (Probably in the early afternoon)
3) Most likely, they will require a minimum purchase for the group (Like 3 large pizzas or something). Are you willing to buy food there to make the tourney happen? Alternatively, would you be okay with using part of the entrance fee if needed.
4) Can you bring a TV?

Good news, everyone.
I actually JUST reached an agreement with the Graduate Committee here at UCSC and I will be able to stay here for at least another quarter, and longer assuming I pass an exam at the end of that quarter. I'm pretty confident that I can do this, so I expect to remain in The Deep for at least another year or so.
