Anti, you should come through with Will's carpool. If it's full, the venue is very easy to bus to from Port Authority.

Does not compute

So, I was on my standard issue drive home today, and because of bad baltimore traffic, decided to check my facebook. My mobile phone makes drives bearable.

I perused the status' of my friends to see the following status:

Johnathan Lugo - why does he keep asking to host. I will keep saying no until he gets that I do not like him.

I did not know what it referred to, so I quickly used my bookmarks to trace down the viridian thread, where I suspected there was an issue. I found the following post:

I have heard that song so many times

ok guys this is the time I ask for people to bring setups. We need at LEAST 15 to make this work. Please post up so I can set up discounts and such!!
I can bring a full set-up, and I'm willing to help with hosting stuff.
I saw one of my favorite event hosts offering to help out. Not even talking about himself as he's known to do, but just simply offering a helping hand.

So I make the following comment:

Scott Robertson II - I think he knows you dont like him but still wants to help out anyways because he likes to help. You should let him know and not push him off.

I figure, hey, if you're gonna hate on the guy, at least try to work out your differences right? Or at least let him know.

Shortly after, I got a notification that Johnathan Lugo commented on his status. I clicked on the link to get this message:

And I was like "oh stupid browser." So I clicked on johnathan lugo's name to get to his wall, and saw the following message:

So wait, what? Have I been deleted from facebook? So I texted EE to confirm this, and he does confirm. I'm confused. What did I do wrong? Like instead of talking to me, I'm just deleted? Did you want me to go away?

And so, by deleting me from facebook, Alex Strife simply lengthened the very problem he is complaining about. Instead of addressing something at it's core and making a good decision, he just avoids the problem. I'd love to talk about this, but is this how you treat someone who's continually supported your events and brought people to them? Someone who's helped you out and teamed with you in the past? Someone who ran the livestream when no one else would at your very first Brawl National?

Would love to work this out sometime! Please PM me. You deleted me, not the other way, so I'll wait for you to talk to me when you're ready. I think this is a lot bigger than me defending someone I respect.

Until then, Ladies and Gentleman, your APEX 2010 host.

Alex Strife is unbalanced and weird. He's also an overrated host. >_>; I don't even know what his issues are, and he never brings beef to real life (like everyone but me/dmbrandon/few people).

Shadap, I always call you out on stuff like you putting yourself over me in seeding all the time. Not that it changes anything though, because you like giving yourself Dededes and ROBs no matter what I say.

I wish I could have Dededes. I had ADHD in quarters and Logic before that at KTAR 3. That's not easy. It's appropriate. I outplaced what I was seeded by far.

And what about at dna8? When you were supposed to play Orion, but then complained and switched yourself to play Ling Ling (one of your best match-ups), simply because you've played Orion "too many times".

Guess what? I played Doom for the 7th time in tourney this weekend.

Always bringing that up. Stop priding yourself on that since it's pretty annoying and I actually don't see it. Whenever I've beefed with you, you don't bring the beef offline. You try to be nice and say "you need to chill out" or something where as online you'd be a complete ***.

If I have a legit problem with someone, I'll say it in person. I confronted atomsk at many tourneys, trash talked ADHD in his face at MLG, etc. Stop being an idiot.

Inui what does you saying he is a overrated host do right now? Seriously, what is the purpose of it? True or not, why say it? What do you expect out of it?

Also Inui I hope you weren't the one that touched that bracket at Ktar. Such bad seeding. Anti vs Dabuz before quarters at the same time you vs logic and vinnie vs gimr happening? If you did do the bracket, you basically gave yourself guaranteed top 10 while alot of people had to go through hell just to get there.

That would have been well over my 15th set with Orion, with over half of them occurring in the span of three months. Ridiculous. I was going to drop out rather than have that garbage happen.

It's because I never wanted to burn any bridges with you. That's all. I'm not ********. If there's a way to avoid beef, I'll do it, despite what people may think. It's funny how you're trying to insult me for being mature.

I didn't check up on dabuz, so that wasn't me. I neglected to even check what was up with him. That was the only big issue, I guess. I don't think they should have played that early. Other than that, the seeding was just fine. No bracket is ever perfect.

Not insulting. It's you who do it to a lot of people by being ignorant just because some people have posted things you haven't heard in person. You think they aren't capable of saying stuff irl but you're dead wrong.

sleep time.

edit: shadow its the perfect time =)

I'm pretty confident that Alex Strife isn't on the top of the world right now. From speaking with him he's got a lot of stuff going on. I'm sure he'll correct his problems in life then go on to do so here too.

Also Tant when you gonna buy an sd reader? I'm itching to upload these replays litterally every waking hour.

@Inui/Ksizzle: I stated that Inui's side looked to easy and Pyronic was placed over to where he was which was honestly fine even if Inui is known to **** Olimar. Dabuz and Anti??? Had no clue about that. When the bracket was done imo people made complaints to Strife and he made some quick changes which I had just about no say in. Not saying any player influenced Strife to do that cause I don't remember where Dabuz & Anti were after my seeding but I honestly should have rechecked the bracket after those sudden changes.

I learn something new every tourney, which mainly comes down to the fact I gotta do **** myself aka there should only be 1 person fully controlling brackets and others giving inputs only.

uhhh... the bracket at ktar was kind of awful. xzax got outplaced by someone that didnt even win a set (even though xzax didnt win a set either, it was someone xzax shoulda been seeded massively higher than, and xzax had to fight rookie round 1 right away no byes)

also i had to fight inui round 2, now that i think about it.... inui does like fighting robs..... lol... *sigh*

so many PA players playing each and stuff in that bracket too. it really was a poor bracket.

haha i didnt know that anti v dabuz was happening at the same time as inui v logic. thats ridiculous

I didn't look at Xzax at all, but didn't he lose to someone he really shouldn't have? Didn't Ebo take him out? And Rookie, tbqh, is just an above average seed/player, just like Xzax, so that wasn't too ridiculous.

We haven't played in tournament for about four months or so, right? You're just mad because you never beat me.

In losers, which is their fault.

It's sooooo ridiculous that I beat both of them anyways, right?
