What I don't like it's how they make you use the touch screen even when you're in a menu. I dunno why I can't just press A to buy some dynamite when they force me to use the touch screen instead

Pushmo is definitely worth getting. Probably my favorite game on the eShop. I haven't played the Samurai game yet, but I do plan on getting it soon.

Pushmo is a must.

I'm not sure about Dillion and Sakura Samurai though, mostly because I don't have enough money to spend thanks to Uprising. :p

Yeah, Dillion is too focused on touch screen controls, which makes it hard for a lefty like me, since I have to constantly switch between the stylus and circle pad whenever I want to move places. Its as if the devs forgot about the right side of the 3DS. As for the touch screen controls themselves, they work well, especially in combat.

EDIT: Even though I am enjoying Dillian's Western, I still don't go back to it as much as I would normally would with the other games I just bought on the eShop.

As for Sakura Samurai, that game is hard, since you have to be so precise. Its an interesting take on the action game genre. (Instead of button mashing, you need to input commands in a timely manner.) The gameplay is good, but there isn't much of a story to it, which is a shame, as this is one of those games that could have been so much greater if the story was better.

SPOILER:
(You are the Sakura Samurai, its your destiny to save the Sakura princess, sorry bub, but your princess is in another castle. That is pretty much the story so far. I will even guess that as soon as you rescue her, everyone is happy again, despite the fact that no one except some weird frog tree man even cared about her. Swear to god, people were like, I wonder what happened to the Sakura princess? Oh well, hey do you want to buy some sweet items?! -_-)

And yes, Pushmo = must buy for the eShop. Cannot wait to download the 3D Classics to Kid Icarus when I pick-up the game on release though.

IMO pushmo> jiro>Sakura

Sakura samueai is pretty fun but it gets pretty repetitive too; Dillon's rolling western's controls don't bother me as much as they probably should.

Well I got OoT3DS today

I really hope this game is good or else I'm not giving the series anymore chances, which I believe I've given it enough of

Do you mean the game itself, or the remake?

They are both good either way and if you dont like the game itself then Zelda games are probably not for you.

And honestly I just have a weird relationship with the series don't ask me why I keep wanting to give it chances it's a weird answer >.>

The game has some amazing visuals though I gotta give it props for that

I feel pretty much the same way you do, Fuelbi. I've tried multiple games in the series, but they could never keep my attention.

I was glued to OoT3DS. It was hard for me to play SS, as the motion controls were a turn off for me. I'll probably be sticking to handheld Zelda's from now on

Yeah pretty much. I want to like Zelda, but I feel like just the way the game is controlled doesn't keep me and my attention span going along with more of the major flaws that some of the older games had that I don't have the nostalgia goggles to obscure my vision

Don't get me wrong though, I believe the series is very formidable in what it accomplishes that no other company has done. Really no other company has been able to match the sheer scope of the story along with the innovative gameplay and amazing music, but I just can't feel the grasp of the game on all the times I've tried it before to my chagrin.

If OoT3DS doesn't manage to impress me and show me that OoT deserves the #1 spot it has had on every list for the past 20 years, then I'm just giving up on the series as a whole and moving on to something else, which would be a shame considering that I was thinking of getting Skyward Sword too depending on what I think of this game

I've never been a big fan of the 3d Zelda games. I'm looking forward to seeing what they plan on doing with the upcoming 3DS game though. "Hopes it isn't another Phantom Hourglass or Spirit Tracks styled game"

EDIT: I just saw some people saying that the first of the 6 Uprising OVAs is out on Nintendo Video now, is this true as it's not showing up for me?

If you liked OoT. you'll love OoT3DS. I loved being able to aim with the gyroscope :awesome:. I have a hunch you probably wouldn't enjoy SS though, unless you like the idea of playing with motion controls the whole time

I did but it's glaring flaws and age really didn't end up impressing me as much as it could've like 20 years ago so I'm trying the 3DS version without the major flaws

Then I'm not sure if you will be impressed by the 3DS version. They just slapped some fresh paint on it by updating the graphics. You obviously will have trouble using 3D and gyroscope aiming together, so one has to be sacrificed for the other. Otherwise, it's the same old game.

OoT3DS is a great package regardless of if you've played the games before. It's the definitive version of the game with a vastly improved item and inventory system, much better control scheme, a more difficult Master Quest and Boss Mode

or yeah, it's "the same exact game except with new graphics"

but hell, if you didn't like OoT to begin with I'm not sure why you are considering buying a remake of it. As polished and improved the basic gameplay and graphics are, it's still Ocarina of Time.

This so much.

I've spent around 80 hours on the game. Twice on normal and I'm still going through Master Quest. You'd be surprised how different they can make the puzzles considering the layout is the same and all, and the puzzles so far are like the perfect difficulty for me.

Other than than it's just a really beautiful game.

Put my favorite feature in bold. Such a great improvement..

Also to note, the Master Quest in this game is mirrored as well (unlike the Gamecube one iirc)

Miyamoto said himself he wants to make a game for the 3ds similiar to LTTP so I would expect a 2d zelda game.

Apparently some game stores have been advertising a "Donkey Kong 3D"

Which is strange, because Nintendo has not announced any Donkey Kong games for the 3DS.

I hope this is true, a platform Donkey Kong game on the 3DS would be great

Edit: That and a Yoshi game are needed/

Hopefully they'll release the OVAs at somepoint (maybe as unlockables in-game). It would be cool to get them as a Club Nintendo exclusive as well.

I've started playing through my KId Icarus cart again, I couldn't help myself. All I can say is that with the new 3D backgrounds the game will only get better. Of course the game is still just as difficult as ever, the hardest stages being the first 3.

And Kirby.

A good full 3ds kirby game would be awesome.

If anyone has Dillon's Rolling Western, I need some help with something...

[collapse=Spoilers]I've completed the 10 main stages, and have 5-starred the first 9 stages. Now I'm trying to 5-star stage 10, but I'm currently stalled on the quest where you have to find an Aurolia. I know that it's extremely rare, but I've done several mine runs without any success at all.

Is there something that I'm missing, or is this item very random!?

If anyone has 5-starred this stage, feel free to help me out.
[/collapse]

Edit: Never mind. I was able to get what I needed earlier.

Wow, that was totally unexpected

I mean I know KIU is gonna be a good game, but I didn't think it was perfect score worthy either. Now I'm even more hyped for the game. The only thing that has me kinda meh is whether or not I need CPP to have a good time with this game. I mean will the game control well enough if I don't have it on a stand on a table to use the stylus on? Or do I seriously need to get CPP so I can just take the game anywhere?
