Apparently Nickelodeon now have the distribution rights to the 80s Turtles show and are going to rerun it. Absolutely doesn't mean anything for NASB, but it's something to discuss. Maybe.

I'd argue it would make the 80s TMNT the definitive versions for NASB going forward. Maybe the 2012 versions can be clone characters or something.

I think it'd be best to have 03 and 12 be alts, even if they'd have the wrong voices as a result. Less problems than trying to make the Rise turtles alts at least.

Interesting, i thought that Snap was a master model in the DS version but i think i remember it being rudy, while penny is the model for the series in the GBA version.

One thing from Slap I really hope NASB 2 implements is the Ascend Zone. It's like the Baby Park of platform fighting, it's so fun, especially with 4 players. I can only imagine what it'd look like with NASB's insane items. No clue what show it'd be based on though.

Like, I totally understand not wanting him, but people are taking this way out of proportion - if he really is not ever, ever, gonna happen in a million years (which is true, don't get me wrong), act like it and stop getting mad at these dumb for-fun hypotheticals made by literal infants who also fully understand that Sonic isn't happening. It's even worse on the Reddit.

Well I thought I was gonna reveal the spicy info drop today but seems I was beat to the punch, but anyways I actually have something else of note, though it’ll take a bit of explanation

The TL;DR is that we now know one of the private videos is the Kong trailer, but the other one remains unknown

The long version is as follows:

So someone in the Discord realized this:

• When you click the 3 dots in the GameMill trailer playlist, there’s an option to make the hidden videos visible. This means when you do that, you can click them and get their links
• If you copy and paste these links into a Google search bar and delete everything that says “&list” and after it in the link, you actually come up with results (NOT the top bar, you have to go to google.com and then use that search bar)
• The first link will lead you to nothing, no results, nothing

- However, for some reason, there’s a couple news articles that directly link to the Kong GameMill game that’ll pop up when you search with the other link

- As a result it can be concluded that one of the links is in fact for the Kong video game trailer and that the other video is NOT the Pegi trailer

Could still be NASCAR but after today’s events I’m a bit more hopeful of the alternative

I don't see why they would put items on the boxart of all thing, especially as big as other fighters. I get that it could be a selling point, but that's the type of stuff that you put on the back of the cover, not that big on the cover art.

It's possible that the character don't have exactly this shape and the leaker just put shadow randomly in those spots. Also the shadow on the left at the bottom of Danny Phantom may actually be 2 characters so each side have 5 characters.

IMO NASB's movesets are so clone-unfriendly that I don't see the point in anyone hoping for echoes. Smash can have a lot of clones because even in 4/Ultimate, a lot of moves characters get are based around the idea that "this character COULD do this", while NASB leans more towards "this character HAS done this".

What you can hope for instead is that they're not spending time making a whole Kamp Koral moveset.

So Danny Phantom, Patrick, and now Spongebob are shown to have in-game glow ups comparable to the prior game's DLC characters. Beautiful, if everyone's brought back, would love to see everyone have this consistent quality. Ideally the treatment in movesets too... Patrick having the rock slam as a strong would be neat.
