Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots had Sam as a playable character and Dark Danny as a skin for Danny, so there's at least one other instance.
I was mainly talking about after his show ended, crossovers 2009/2010-onward. Attack of the Toybots was 2007 I believe.

What's gonna happen to this section once the sequel is announced. Are we gonna keep using it, or are you gonna create a new one and have everything migrate over there?

I think the course of action will be to keep this section and rename it “Nickelodeon All Star Brawl (series)”. This way, both games can be talked about simultaneously.
Unrelated but for the RTC thread, I believe if a sequel is announced the goal will change to sequel chances and rerates will be needed.

I'm not really expecting a lot of changes to the movesets of existing fighters.
I’m with you on this one, to be honest. Best I can see being updated is a couple (or maybe all) the OG’s base game characters getting new aerials so they aren’t just the ground attacks but not grounded anymore, and maybe one or two characters getting new specials or something if it feels right.

I think that because of the possibility of this being another rushed release and the devs might want to spend more time creating new fighters than to tinker with the already existing cast.

Dude

You don't need to constantly say stuff, you just repeat yourself and reiterate the exact same thing you said on the last page. You're not adding anything new to the conversation by reinstating the same thing over and over again

You know I was thinking about the Patrick with his house image and many people assumed that it was a special move similar to Final smash but what if it's just a regular special moves and everyone gets a new neutral or side special similar to 64 to Melee (and maybe a new neutral or side normal attack too). I mean, sure the move looks powerful and definitely have a good range, but Patrick lifting a rock doesn't scream to me "this has to be a super incredible Final smash type move". It just feels like something he could do regularly. And giving every characters one new move could bring a lot on the table even if there's not a lot of newcomers. Thoughts?

If it's a final Smash I assume it's based speificly on this scene

Super moves don't always have to be super flashy. Just look at the one I timestamped, it's pretty basic compared to ROB's later Final Smashes.

Yeah that's fair, and considering the team budget I'm not expecting big cinematic move. But I just feel like people jumped really fast on the "final Smash" train but I think it could be a regular move too.

I think the assumption of it being a Super Move is more hopeium than speculation. I personally really do not want a NASB 2 where characters can just summon giant, hyperpowerful set pieces as side specials, especially a character like Patrick who's archetype isn't designed around that sorta thing. As a command input would be fine though.

Yeah. I'd say Zuko is a safe bet for a sequal
Oh good, I was worried the Zuko movie wasn't happening anymore ever since they announced the Adult Team Avatar movie.

RIP Kiyoshi and Korra movies, though.

One of those is probably the unannounced film.

To be fair, Kyoshi got a set of novels and Korra got her show, so I'd say we're due to see our old friends from the original, anyway.

This is my current predictions for the game:

1. The game will use the same framework as the original game. It will just add on to it.
2. All of the veteran fighters will return.
3. There will be 7-10 newcomers. Three of them will be Jimmy Neutron, Squidward, and Zuko.
4. There will be more modes, particularly for singleplayer.
5. The online section will receive a complete overhaul, with crossplay being included from launch.
6. There will be some sort of collectibles to keep players invested in the game.
7. Some new moves will be introduced, whether they are final smashes or just new specials is unknown.
8. Lincoln will receive new voice clips with his new voice actor or actress at the time this game comes out.
9. There will be some minor touchups, but overall the movesets of existing characters will not be tampered with.
10. The gameplay will mostly be the same as the original.

7-10 newcomers is really pushing it. Personally I'm expecting more 5 or 6. I also really doubt that they will do new voice clips for anyone on the roster.

I feel like Leo and Raph are more likely for a sequal than people think.
Donnie*

Regardless, my thought process is I don't necessarily trust that they'd reverse the decision to include Donnie and Raph. I don't have proof of it but I know for a fact that they weren't excluded due to possibly playing similarity (according to Rep, again don't have proof of this I just know he said it in the server)

Point I'm getting at is they made a conscious decision to not include them the first go around and Shredder was debatably the post-launch character the community was least hyped for. Hence, I just have a feeling they're not gonna go back on that decision when there's at least a dozen characters that are more highly requested. Same logic goes for Arnold, the Rugrats, Ickis, Eliza, etc

Here's my fighter predictions, not expecting this many new characters of course. (Though I also don't think it's completely impossible)
  1. Squidward
  2. Mr. Krabs or Plankton
  3. Jimmy
  4. Rapheal
  5. Donatello
  6. Odie
  7. Zuko
  8. Second TLA newcomer.
  9. One of the other missing protags (Most likely Tommy or Arnold)
  10. Barnyard rep (95% chance of being Otis)

EDIT: QG makes a really good argument against Raph and Donnie's likelihood, if I had seen that beforehand I would've swapped them out or lumped them with #9

I think you're underestimating popularity. Think about how many ninja turtles fans like myself were disappointed when their favorite turtle wasn't there. And the playing similarly thing really only makes sense for Raph, not for Donnie, who has both inventions AND wields a staff, which yes, Aang does wield, but their styles are completely different.

Second TLA newcomer? I mean, I'm not opposed, but I feel like we'd get another series first. People are really only looking for Zuko or maybe Sokka. I even feel like Asami might be a pick rather than another from TLA. I actually think El Tigre and either an Angry Beavers or Rocket Power character is far more likely than us getting another Last Airbender character

That, and if NKR3 only adding 4 all-new shows and 2 spinoffs of one that's been in since 1 is any indication, they're not going to be able to have every newcomer come from an unrepped show anyway. If they plan on trying to add more than 4-6 newcomers, we're going to have to see things like Squidward, Zuko, the remaining Turtles, and maybe someone from the pool of Eliza/Ickis/Arnold/Rugrats babies.

Raph and Donnie seem like such obvious sequel bait I'd be genuinely surprised to not see them there. They could even play into it like "RAPHAEL AND DONATELLO ARE HERE THE NINJA TEAM IS COMPLETE!"

I could see more than one Avatar universe character making it in. Not only does Nick want to make it like their MCU, but these are characters who are actual legit fighters from one of Nick's incredibly rare pure action shows.

We better get an Angry Beaver or I'm gonna complain about it a lot freak out.

It would be weird if this game still had Bentley Griffin voicing Lincoln when he gets a new voice actor on the show. I think that Lincoln will get new voice clips provided by his new voice actor unless Bentley is still voicing Lincoln by the time this game comes out.
