Edit: There's a difference between being "Controversial" and being "Divisive".

Divisive was definitely the better word. Lemme quote TV Tropes here:

"Sam Manson is probably the biggest example (Base-Breaking Character) on the whole show. She is a polarizing figure due to being bossy and hypocritical in the eyes of many fans, usually as a means to push her agenda. Some examples include temporarily forcing her Ultra-Recyclo Vegetarian diet on the entirety of Casper High without the consent (or even knowledge) of her peers, even in the face of a ghost attack, protesting a completely voluntary beauty contest (viewing it as sexist), and using Danny's powers for her own gain despite telling him he should be selfless with them."

Her romantic subplot with Danny was also horribly botched and rushed, which was one of the things that dragged Season 3 down.


But yeah, pretty much lost a lot of enthusiasm I had for this game's speculation already. Gonna be a month of them telling us stuff we already know.

that's ok, kart racers aren't really known much for roster speculation anyways yeah? I'd rather take this as an opportunity to look back at Kart Racers 1. It's cool how far Nicktoons games have come in quality again since they started making them again

after looking over that teaser for a longer amount of time then I'd like to admit, I feel pretty certain in saying that the left is Cindy and the right is Jimmy. I almost guessed Dr. Calamitous but there's too much black silhouette over top of Jimmy and my only guess as to why is because Cindy's ponytail is overlapping

I would assume it's either an early unlock or he's basicly bonus dlc and they'll put him up as dlc later.

Call me crazy, but I actually think the fact the roster was clearly influenced by NASB can go both ways. I can see Zuko and Jimmy being high-priority simply due to popularity, and I think them getting into this game isn't at all a coincidence.

I mean considering Purple Reptar gets its own slot I just assumed Prince Zuko and Comic Raph came with the turbo edition, which makes me think that they're viewed as bonuses for the turbo edition because the base game is already gonna have those two characters or something (hence the specification of PRINCE Zuko).

Basically I think we're getting 2 Zuko's and 2 Raph's, it's just one of each of them will be locked behind the Turbo Edition for some reason

I'm leaning extremely slightly towards fake. Nothing really seems explicitly fake about it, but I also think faking NASB screenshots wouldn't be that hard, especially given the person who posted it is themselves a multimedia artist who claims that schadenfruede is their favourite emotion. Given Hugh was supposedly finished by Jenny's release, I certainly wouldn't be surprised if the 4th DLC was in such a presentable state.

I generally lean more towards fake by default when it comes to leaks (unless there's some genuine decisive evidence that it could be legit), so that's where I am right now regarding this.

However, I felt the same way towards the Garfield leak and that ended up being real, so I'm of the stance of "It's fake for now, but let's wait and see how things play out once Rocko's released".

Does anyone know how the "popularity" tab on the Switch eShop's algorithm works? Because if it's to be believed the Universe Pack has outsold NASB's digital version and Kart 2, and solo Jenny has outsold solo Hugh, both of whom have also outsold Kart 2. That being said, regardless of if this means all time or recent, and sales or page views, I think it's a good sign going forwards.

they both outsold Kart 2 solo? That's....great I think? Considering the bells and whistles Kart 3 seems to be getting

I dunno, a few of these I feel like the NASB render is a bit better, particularly Lucy, Reptar, and Oblina.

Patrick looks better for sure, neither April looks that great, and I could go either way on the rest.

well the thing with Reptar for me is that in the show he's more long than he is in NASB and I feel like his KR3 look reflects that better, not to mention the coloring just seeming more accurate as well

Has he become the go-to Mirage version Turtle for crossovers or something? He had a major role in the third Batman crossover comic.

Although I guess that they just took the opportunity while they still had the voice actors for the NASB characters on hand.

I know of that, but still, it's a pretty weird roster pick, never mind it being exclusive to the Turbo Edition alongside Zuko.

TBH I was kind of hoping for Ickis to be the game's Aaahh!!! Real Monsters rep for the sake of having things be different from NASB. NASB is the oddball when it comes to Nicktoon rosters, and having so many newcomers be taken from it takes that away.

So they're doing a "track checklist" and the first new one is the Fire Nation, and I have to say, visually speaking, this one looks pretty cool, especially since it looks like you sail through lava during the latter part of the track.

I imagine that Jenny was decided on pretty late, given that. The reason she got into NASB at all was due to fan demand (and probably Ludosity wanting to go for her), so it's more than a little coincidental that she just so happened to get into NKR3 as well.
