Well, its pretty hard to get hyped about a tourney where almost no1 wants to mm. On top of that, I wont travel to another tourney for awhile so I would like to get some mm's. Being in college doesn't mean being dirt poor.

A money match is supposed to be a mutual gain unless it's something like a grudge match.

Lol yea I was pretty sure mms were a skill test but the money was just to emulate a tourney environment so there's no sandbagging on either side

Or in an extreme scenario paying a really good player to basically dismantle you so you can gauge your skill level

well PRS are based on tourney placings, not MM's unless they are PR MM's and those are done rarely. So I would think tourney placings show skill and MM's are just a void to gain extra money on the side or to practice a bit.
