Waluigi. Break every rule and look stylish while doing it.If you guys had it your way. Who'd be your ideal pick for DLC fighter 5 and why?
Realistically (adhering to all third parties): KOS-MOSIf you guys had it your way. Who'd be your ideal pick for DLC fighter 5 and why?

I would pick Raccoon City.If Resident Evil gets a character would you prefer the stage to be the Spencer Mansion or Racoon City?
Me personally I want Racoon City a bit more, mostly because the feeling of a spooky mansion filled with the paranormal is already something we have in Smash. A burning city filled with a horde of monsters crawling around the city seems more special. I'd also argue Racoon City is the most popular location in Resident Evil which makes it a more fitting stage.
What a theme. The first time I heard The Sun Rises when I played Okami I got chills. That game is great.Amaterasu with The Sun Rises. They'd better not remix it.
Phoenix Wright, only because ending off the pass with a loop back to Joker’s trailer for the reveal in the courtroom that Joker stole Phoenix’s invitation this whole time would just be perfect. If you guys had it your way. Who'd be your ideal pick for DLC fighter 5 and why?
Unlikely, but I'd be super happy If they'd announce Rex + Mythra/Pyra as DLC 5 after inially deconfirming him almost exactly a year ago. I doubt (m)any people bought the pass specifically for the Mii costume, but in that case they wouldn't have to complain about spending money on it.If you guys had it your way. Who'd be your ideal pick for DLC fighter 5 and why?
Porky, probably, mostly for the chance of announcing a proper MOTHER 3 release and finally getting him a Spirit. If you guys had it your way. Who'd be your ideal pick for DLC fighter 5 and why?
Still Ryu Hayabusa, as always. Definitely would be a mobile, combo-oriented character, have good music and good stage possibilities. I think people could enjoy at least something from the franchise, if not Ryu himself. If you guys had it your way. Who'd be your ideal pick for DLC fighter 5 and why?

KOS-MOS. I'd love for the old Xeno to stand with the new Xeno in gaming's ultimate crossover. She would represent the history of Monolith Soft before they were bought by Nintendo. Also, she's the underdog when it comes to Namco characters in Smash; I think it'd be pretty cool if she somehow got playable status in Smash before the likes of Tekken, Tales of, Soulcalibur, etc. (though I would also hope another one of these do happen later on, if she somehow made it in as Fighter Pack #5).If you guys had it your way. Who'd be your ideal pick for DLC fighter 5 and why?
KOS-MOS for that sweet Bamco representation. If you guys had it your way. Who'd be your ideal pick for DLC fighter 5 and why?
I would totally pick Agitha from LoZ: TP.If you guys had it your way. Who'd be your ideal pick for DLC fighter 5 and why?
Pauline. If you guys had it your way. Who'd be your ideal pick for DLC fighter 5 and why?
a Rhythm Heaven rep, cuz RH is such an underrated Nintendo property and it needs some love. It'd be a first party character to boot.If you guys had it your way. Who'd be your ideal pick for DLC fighter 5 and why?
You figured out how they made us excuse Xenoblade 2Porky, probably, mostly for the chance of announcing a proper MOTHER 3
Darkrai because not only he is my favourite character overall, I think he has good potential moveset wise. Also there is no Mythical Pokemon that is playable neither. If you guys had it your way. Who'd be your ideal pick for DLC fighter 5 and why?
Considering the other choices I've seen responding to this, I might as well...If you guys had it your way. Who'd be your ideal pick for DLC fighter 5 and why?
Imagine if they do it a third time with fighter #5 (or beyond)? This is straight up how it felt when Joker was coming out, didn't think I would feel like this again during Ultimates hype cycle.
Doom Slayer/Doomguy would be my pick for DLC 5 for a few reasons. If you guys had it your way. Who'd be your ideal pick for DLC fighter 5 and why?
My research actually claims that Doom 64 is on Switch too..
.
Doom 64 was exclusive to the Nintendo 64.
.
.
There was a post around here that stated that he was just another Samus.Doom Slayer/Doomguy would be my pick for DLC 5 for a few reasons.
He would be the closest thing to Master Chief in Smash (unless that actually happens.)
Doom 64 was exclusive to the Nintendo 64.
He is a gunner which is an archetype that's poorly represented by Samus/Dark Samus and Mii Gunner.
He would cause Japanese gamers (casual and hardcore) to go "who's that?" analogous to the West's reaction to Hero.
As if your accusation was powerful to begin with.Powerful counterargument
I did? My mistake thenI feel like you already asked this one, but:
1. Ryu Hayabusa [Ninja Gaiden]
2. Bill Rizer/Lance Bean [Contra]
3. Arthur [Ghosts ‘n Goblins]
4. Kunio/Riki [River City Ransom]
5. Bub/Bob [Bubble Bobble]
6. Nathan Spencer [Bionic Commando]
7. Rash/Zitz [Battletoads]
8. Shantae [Shantae]
9. Kazuma Kiryu [Yakuza]
10. SV-001 Metal Slug [Metal Slug]
That ain't even in the top 5 boss themes in THAT GAME!
Sackboy, Freddy, or DoomslayerIf you guys had it your way. Who'd be your ideal pick for DLC fighter 5 and why?
And I hope that FP5 info gets released at that time...If terry shadow dropped out of nowhere today Or tomorrow it would be magical
Reducing Doom Slayer and Master Chief down to "shooter guys" is literally the anime swordfighter argument and is equally stupid. There was a post around here that stated that he was just another Samus.
I would prefer Master Chief but...people seem to like violent shooter guy over space shooter guy.
That's something we'd see down the line, though not now.Reducing Doom Slayer and Master Chief down to "shooter guys" is literally the anime swordfighter argument and is equally stupid.
On my semi-prediction, semi-wishlist, I included both Doom Slayer AND Master Chief because they are both iconic.
That would be so cool.Phoenix Wright, only because ending off the pass with a loop back to Joker’s trailer for the reveal in the courtroom that Joker stole Phoenix’s invitation this whole time would just be perfect.
That would be hype. That would be so cool.
After reading your comment now I expect FP5 or some of the future DLC having a trailer involving Joker stealing the invitation.
He’s completely out of the running and I’ve made peace with it but... Shovel Knight. If you guys had it your way. Who'd be your ideal pick for DLC fighter 5 and why?
moreover, still no word from Vergeben's investigation after confirming Hayabusa wasn't FP5?That's something we'd see down the line, though not now.
Btw, received anything from Sabi yet?
What a day.....
There was a problem fetching the tweet
I gotta say that they're too busy kinding their own business.moreover, still no word from Vergeben's investigation after confirming Hayabusa wasn't FP5?
This actually reminds me of something I wrote back in 2013 about the pre-Brawl Fire Emblem wars (this was written in early 2013):Peopple do whatever it takes to justify THEIR most wanted characters but they will take out a goddamn long list of why your most wanted cant be in the game. Discussion about roster choices became absolute dog**** with Ultimate, but I cant even imagine what it was like in the Brawl days
Doom 64 WAS exclusive to the N64.My research actually claims that Doom 64 is on Switch too.
So nope, it isn’t a N64 exclusive.
