Here's a weird prediction. I think there will be a Fighters Pass 2, and I think there will be a Bonus Character in between the Passes, and I think the way you'll qualify for this character is by purchasing both passes, and I think that character will be Geno.

Given how long it takes to crank these fighters out, I'd be shocked if they do a bonus character. Though, maybe less time working on game modes could be used to work on one.

Making something harder and more expensive to get is a brilliant business tactic. It makes the item more seem more valuable so people become more willing to spend two season passes worth of money just to get it. Plus, those die hard fans that you mentioned would have to spend more money just to get the one thing that they want.

Sakurai and Suda51 are buddies, and Suda has said many times in the past that he’d love Travis to join Smash

I have no real attachment to the character or series but I just have a gut feeling he’s gonna make it. Suda51 said back in November of last year that Travis wasn’t in Smash but that was almost certainly for FP1, so he’s still very much in the running.

I agree - Suda has annoyed Sakurai for years about it and the NMH franchise supports Nintendo first. Would be a new take on a sword fighter with Wrastlin moves (...and Beam Katana)

Kimmy wouldn't work but Shinobu I could see being being an alt if they were to even consider one or echo I just chose Henry because it's the easiest option plus I don't even think Kimmy will be that important she wasn't that important in 2 Shinobu is the important one heck you get to play as her and she's in the spin off

Weirdly enough, I never felt anything with the writing. Although, the plot twists and bosses were spoiled for me so that could have been an issue.

The beam sword stuff was what kept me going and I'm interested in what NMH3 could be like.

Honestly, an Echo Fighter's Pass would be a great idea imo. There are several possibilities for Echoes that we don't have yet (Shadow for Sonic, Rock for Terry, Celica for Robin). If I had to honestly guess for a new fighter though? 100% Byleth for me. I can't see how it wouldn't be them, even if FE is represented by a lot. It makes too much sense

It'd also mean a ****ton of work and considering Seth got no character interactions and they added the mute RWBY character instead OF THE ONE WHO'S LITERALLY BASED ON BLAZBLUE I don't think Team Blue wants to put much effort in BBTag anymore

I would argue that they are still putting in the effort. They wouldn't be putting in more characters if they didn't already care about what they were making. They would need to remake everything for Akatsuki and Blitztank, and I believe Yumi's sprite and animations are all made from scratch. Not to dismiss Penny entirely, but I don't think she's unique enough of a character considering Nu and Vatista cover a lot of what she does already, not that I wouldn't like her of course.

Wait I genuinely don't understand this. You're saying more Pikachus, anime prominent characters and more starters, right? I fail to see how any of those could even cause a hint of salt outside of "WAAAAAAAAH JUST BECAUSE POKEMON IS LITERALLY THE MOST SUCCESSFUL MEDIA FRANCHISE ON THE PLANET DOESN'T MEAN IT SHOULD GET ANYTHING!" like Incineroar got

I meant in general and me being salty at no Penny doesn't dismiss the fact they went for the mute character to likely save costs. Also Akatsuki was in UNIST too
