Same Here honestly. It seems to have more of a Real Time element to it, and doesn't have the need for Touch Screen movement. Though I Personally hope Neku is in this game somewhere because This Main character doesn't look as Slick as Neku. he still looks cool but yeah
Starters are always a safe bet, yes, but that doesn't mean they'd be the only Pokemon Game Freak would show to Sakurai.
That looks great. Glad they went with a completely new combat system. The first games just doesn't work without the hardware of the DS.
This again doesn't go against my claims as all it does is say we both agree that starters are a safe bet for Sakurai on including popular mons, which is why I say it's likely why he got to see their concept art and not get a free picking of every mon the gen would introduce. I think we're done if we're just gonna go in circles
Btw I just realized your prequel claim doesn't make sense, TWEWY prides itself on being accurate to youth culture at the time and Rindo has a smartphone

I'd still say it's a coincidence Sakurai went for a starter twice in a row, but maybe the odds of it happening are like, 30% or something like that because GF would be like "here's the starters that are safe bets and here's some stuff we think is really cool", so the idea of it happening twice in a row feels possible.
If the odds are about 30% then that means he was showed the starters and only a few other options both times and not the full catalogue. Thanks for agreeing with me that Sakurai chose what was guaranteed to be popular though!

Nah I see a bunch of Nintendo purists constantly froth at the mouth when people use new info to speculate on third parties even though both the people speculating by using new info on third parties and the Nintendo purists do the same for first parties.
The thing about starters though is that they're popular because they're starters.
Considering that nobody else in the thread seemed to react to that comment, I'm not sure if it means much. (don't think he'd put "hoping this is true" if it was meant to say that he's not getting in, but maybe that's just me)

Not sure how it would. It isn't like IIRC Tansut isn't 100% accurate or involved with Smash in terms of leaks.
Both are Square characters is obviously what he means, what's really forced is getting out the grinding axe against "nintendo purists" out of nowhere

The fact we got two Square Spirit Events but no costumes yet (aside from the DQ ones with Hero) definitely bodes well for another Square character I feel

I don't really have any characters I'm interested in at the moment. I think something like Ryu Hayabusa, Geno, Arle, and Rillaboom are a realistic spread but there are so many ways that I can go. In terms of characters that I think are realistic though, I would naturally be looking at ST...
So, a ResetERA insider that is verified by admins is making a claim that Geno is in the fighters pass 2.
Them and Capcom feel like the two companies I feel somewhat safe in predicting will get characters. I think Smash has had too many curveballs in previous selections to really say specifically which ones, but given the depths of options in both it feels likely.

To be honest, I've wanted to get into SideM for a long time but haven't really getting around it even by watching the anime which i only lasted for 3 episode.
