I just remember seeing him for ages saying either his sources or guessing or something saying that there would be bonus fighters. I just like that idea even if I may not beleive his sources. I honestly would like just some more echos as i like the idea of echos and it seemed like there were going to do a lot more with them then they did

Well yeah, people always want more characters, but save yourself the trouble and don't buy into what he says - he's not credible.

People have been talking about the possibility of more bonus characters the moment the Direct that announced the first pass ended. That's when the first (and probably only) "bonus character" was revealed. It's not really something anyone has to "come up" with, because it's just a part of gaming.

If anything, the "bonus character" here is that they added an extra eleventh FP.

Alright, here's a question just for fun and to shake the topic up a bit: Let's say one Pokemon, and only one Pokemon from the 30 results of the Pokemon of the Year Poll (that isn't already playable, obv) gets a chance to join Smash as a part of FP2. Doesn't matter which one it is, nor which generation it's from, as long as it's from the top 30 in the poll and isn't already in the game.

First off, which one would you pick as a personal want, and second, which one would you deem most likely to actually join the game?

Gardevoir falls into the mostly human enough I think to get the less furry but still honry crowd. Every gen since 3rd has 1 Gardevoir like. Lopunny, Tasreena, Hatterne, Gothitelle, and Braxien/Delphox.

I really hate that they removed Megas. Yes some were completly busted, but others really made some near useless pokemon viable again. Mawile, Sableye, Beedrill, Lopunny, Audino, and Pidgot to name a few. I wish they bring back megas of the non broken sort at least. or bring them all back and rebalance them.

they are 100x better then Gigantimax....

I know this is old news but I made a stop at 7/11 to check things out.

Japan is known for how many convenience stores it has. Technically speaking, besides 7/11, there’s Lawson, Family Mart, Daily Yamazaki, Cocos, Mini Stop, and numerous smaller and regional ones. Family Mart, probably the second biggest chain, has the Vol 2 Pass pulled from its shelves while Mini Stop and Lawson doesn’t. 7/11 is currently the only convenience store which such a display. I also noted that the shopping mall we went to on Tuesday didn’t have any sort of display of this up. So, it’s basically only 7/11 unless other places, like in Tokyo, have it set up in book and gaming stores.

Don't take him seriously, he has never been right about anything really. Also the idea of bonus fighters is just ridiculous since Sakurai has basically confirmed volume 2 will mark the end of DLC support and if anything volume 2's characters are the bonus fighters if the rumors about it getting greenlight some time round E3 2019 are true.

Those who weren’t here for the 2006-2008 era of speculation don't know just how sane we all are nowadays. Back then, I could make fun and insult a person for supporting Mog and how stupid that choice was which in turn made that person stupid without so much a bat of an eye. It was excepted and expected. Things were simpler but far darker.
