A full fledged general Direct yes. We got a Mini in March.Wow, has it almost been a legit year since we gotten a full direct?
I can understand why, COVID-19 is scary as hell.
I mean, it is a mini direct though, so it isn't really a "full" direct.A full fledged general Direct yes. We got a Mini in March.
What if Super Mario had his 35th anniversary today?

I found this post a bit interesting,I really just don’t see the appeal in Geno. He’s been in one game from 30 years ago and wasn’t even the main character in that game. He wouldn’t represent a new series and the series he would represent has much more impactful and well-known candidates like Waluigi and King Boo. If you want to argue that he could represent the RPGs, then why not consider Fawful or Paper Mario? I really don’t even feel like he would bring a new playstyle to the table- he would be a fighter with a gun for an arm like mega man or Mii gunner.. I honesty just don’t think the game would be too different if he were a deluxe Mii costume instead of a stand-alone fighter. For these reasons I see him as a waste of a DLC slot for the purpose of fan service.
That being said, I genuinely just want him in at this point so that his fans can stop hijacking every speculation thread to circle jerk about his chances amidst very circumstantial “evidence”. I’ll also be happy for his fans if he gets in, I just don’t understand him or why he should be in over other characters.
Edit- sorry, I forgot about his cameo in superstar saga in the arcade machine thing
I also find this rather interesting, i mean the whole thing with geno is that... well yeah... square wouldnt pick him, not in a million years.I don’t see why Square Enix would realistically pick Geno anyway when they haven’t done anything with him in the longest time. If they were to double dip I’d sooner see the likes of 2B or Neku happening
Told ya.Never mind, seems as though Ryce never leaked Plant or Cloud. I was wondering where that came from.@GenosPapa @EthanDolan He was just speculating. And I hate to correct you on that but I have been in same forum as Ryce ever since Smash 4. He didn't even leaked Piranha Plant or Cloud. And I know you probably would ask for an evidence so here it is. pic.twitter.com/4efhfbB834

No that was Nintendo of UK (They usually post the same stuff as Nintendo of Europe but they didn't that time)NoE did post, didn't they? They did that Origami King post.
Out of curiosity, is cacomallow still on that list?Told ya.
Now I'm curious if the Geno Thread will take Ryce "hint" out of "The List™" or not.
I feel like trying to connect a fanbase with bandwagoning simply doesn't work at all. like, you dont personally know any of these fans, you dont know what they truly are like, so you simply cant reduce their want for a character as bandwagoning since again, you dont know them. Are there people out there who fit the description of a bandwagoner, maybe but theres not much of a point in thinking about it.I don't agree with the notion that Geno has no appeal, but bandwagoning is a very real psychological phenomenon, both the negative and the positive kind. Like, this is actually utilized in marketing to great effect. It's almost a form of tribalism. Things have gotten popular for no other reason than very vocal passionate people, with case studies of people looking back and not understanding why they cared in the first place.
I'm pretty sure the Starling picture is still on The List, so I'll quite be surprised if Cacomallow is not there.Out of curiosity, is cacomallow still on that list?
I understand the temptation to look at bandwagoning as a pure negative, but it's not really. Things that are more visible in any community tend to self-promote and attract new people, and there's a general sense of momentum that results from additional exposure that has really benefited every single fan request for Smash ever. At the end of the day, Smash Ultimate is a punchy fun video game, it doesn't actually matter how deep your convictions are for wanting a character or if you would be a "true fan" without a larger community that helped expose you to that character/the idea of that character in Smash. I think it's just better to embrace the idea of bandwagoning being relevant to a fan request rather than always fighting it as it also lets you be in control of the language around the character.I feel like trying to connect a fanbase with bandwagoning simply doesn't work at all. like, you dont personally know any of these fans, you dont know what they truly are like, so you simply cant reduce their want for a character as bandwagoning since again, you dont know them. Well, there's already the Xbox Series S... Obviously it stands for Xbox Series Switch.Since the Mario collection might be announced soon-ish now, I think I could mention that a while ago, I did have a dream about it getting revealed. What I saw was some footage from Galaxy, and then it ending the consoles that this would release on. . . those being the PS4, the XBox Series X, and. . . the XBox Series Y. Nothing on the Switch.
Clearly, my dreams are the most reliable insider.
Because people who don’t hype responsibly end up overhyping themselves that everything they ever wanted will be suddenly made real within a 35 minute window. But when what they hyped themselves up doesn’t happen, well, they end up making emotionally charged bad choices including targeting other character threads, long rant posts, targeting certain individuals, making empty but still worrying threats, and/or a combination of the above. When this happens...well...that’s when warnings are issued.I do not get the joke of hype responsibility.
What is wrong if people are very optimistic? I understand people can get too crazy, but still, it is good to be excited.

kicks down doorTomorrow, I will finally buy New Horizons and it’s going to completely and utterly awful.
I've got a perfect way to stop the hype train. The next character is Bubsy.Oh god, I'm actually getting excited again. Someone please stop me before the train crashes.
