My idea for Dark Samus cloning herself was using her clone as a decoy bomb.

I shared that earlier in the thread.Found this while looking for Shantae art on Twitter. Don't believe it but thought it was worth sharing.
There was a problem fetching the tweet
Man you really think that's the biggest issue and not how awfully convinient it is they just so happened to fiddle around with the url, found a date, recorded footage to show that it exists instead of spreading it first and finding out Nintendo got rid of it right before they'd spread it to others? The real is why didn’t they test tomorrow, the 17th?
Guy, you were d.Found this while looking for Shantae art on Twitter. Don't believe it but thought it was worth sharing.

Oh it's absolutely a thing, it's what happened to UMvC3, but everything else surrounding this is sus as ****Well I do know from experience that some people will mash in URLs to see what works and that now and then you'll get someone who skips protocols to get lunch quicker.
Still don't believe this but let's entertain it. We don't have much else over the next two weeks.
We don't even know if it's legit yet. Amazon listings don't always mean something. This seems interesting, wonder if it'll be another shadow drop or in an actual direct?
Sadly, they're not as legit as rating board leaks...We don't even know if it's legit yet. Amazon listings don't always mean something.
It’s roughly 17.53somethingsomething days/hours away so it’s not like we’ll have to wait long.Honestly, I kinda want to pass the "full year since the last Nintendo direct" milestone.
If we waited this long, we may as well stick it out for a couple of weeks to reach the fourth.
Apparently, this helps support a rumor of both Geno AND Waluigi coming this pass. Don't exactly know how, though. It also helps that it's yet another evergreen rumor that seems to finally be coming true.
Producer Aonuma Comments Spark Rumors of ‘Skyward Sword’ Switch Release
The 'Zelda' series producer reportedly mentioned a Switch port during a recent concert in Japan.www.google.com
Yet another 2018 rumor coming true in 2020?!? Golly, it's an epidemic!
Also, the Polish Amiibo leak in early May already added a ton of backing to this so I kind of figured that this rumor's kill switch was likely to be September anyways:
Geno (♥♪!?): Return of the Starsend Savior
It makes no sense that Nintendo would waste time, money, and assets dealing with Square over an updated costume when they could just port over the old one getting the same amount of money. A Geno costume but with a face is not gonna make that much of a difference since the fans know he got...smashboards.com
Boy, sure would be a shame if a certain duo of Mario characters heard in insider circles since 2018 came true too...
Can you say overconfidence?I was browsing the Geno thread again, and MAN are yhey taking this Zelda rumor in stride.

I can type "overconfidence", does that count? Or should I give a dictionary definition too?Can you say overconfidence?
But seriously, whatever the Zelda thing leads to, it could be good.
Very funny, wise guy! Note I was kidding around, too.I can type "overconfidence", does that count? Or should I give a dictionary definition too?
Although now we have to watch out for any "leaks" that mention this. I swear, it's like the cycle never ends...
Yeah, I was joking too. Sorry for not being clear about that.Very funny, wise guy! Note I was kidding around, too.
Pretty rad making epidemic/pandemic jokes in 2020, that's some real classI was browsing the Geno thread again, and MAN are yhey taking this Zelda rumor in stride.

Oh, but you were. That is why I said, "Very funny, wise guy!".Yeah, I was joking too. Sorry for not being clear about that.
I see no point to bring up one of the most infamous conspiracy theorists on this site even if it's for a quick laughI was browsing the Geno thread again, and MAN are yhey taking this Zelda rumor in stride.

How is this much of a conspiracy, may I ask?I see no point to bring up one of the most infamous conspiracy theorists on this site even if it's for a quick laugh
"One old rumour might end up being true. This means a completely unrelated rumour must be true" alongside other stuff like Byleth being planned for base game, this year supposed to be having Master Chief, Geno and more confirmed in Smash at this year's E3, "Sorry guys my source mixed up this high profile Japanese company with an indie Western company, they thought that Yacht Club's game was the new Ninja Gaiden, honest mistake!" and more. There's just no point into bringing up a total rando who claims he has sources but isn't a leaker despite saying stuff that's supposedly not out in the open yetHow is it much of a conspiracy, may I ask?
If you are talking about that one guy, I fail to see how he is a conspiracy theorist. I am sure he knows himself to be more of a guy than a leaker, as in one who may want to say his thoughts more than what his sources may tell him, as sources can only do so much. I don't see how he is bad, especially if I am seeing this as exaggeration. There is a lot of things you do not know about one person, and people just tend to jump over people like him and make up things even if they aren't true. What you may see in him may not be true about him at all. We shouldn't jump to conclusions about what we don't know about anyone."One old rumour might end up being true. Par for the course for that thread after the Uighur Muslim thing tbh.Pretty rad making epidemic/pandemic jokes in 2020, that's some real class
I'm sure there's more to his logic than I'm seeing in this post, but how could insiders hear rumors of Geno and Waluigi getting in Smash back in 2018 when the second Fighter's Pass couldn't have been more than an idea they were considering if the first pass did well?I was browsing the Geno thread again, and MAN are yhey taking this Zelda rumor in stride.
Apparently, this helps support a rumor of both Geno AND Waluigi coming this pass. Don't exactly know how, though.
To be completely fair to him whenever he brought this fact up ( which it's something that he does a lot) he always specifies that these rumors have been a thing "since" 2018, which implies that Waluigi and Geno have been constantly been heard for 2 years straight among "insider circles".I'm sure there's more to his logic than I'm seeing in this post, but how could insiders hear rumors of Geno and Waluigi getting in Smash back in 2018 when the second Fighter's Pass couldn't have been more than an idea they were considering if the first pass did well?
Also, connecting one unrelated rumor to another is the equivalent of saying, "Star Fox Grand Prix is real!! The Geno rumors were true!!"
If that happened, wouldn't that have been speculation on his part, which was not so sure, may I ask?Didn’t he also say there was a strong possibility of FP5 being a Western character, possibly Dragonborn?
This just made me realize that there's a possibility that some % of the Doom or Skyrim-type rumors might have had a legitimate basis in "Nintendo and Bethesda are talking about Smash!"... when said collaboration could very well end at the Vault Boy costume. (Or said rumors were always guesses at best, but still.)Didn’t he also say there was a strong possibility of FP5 being a Western character, possibly Dragonborn?
The point I was getting at is that insiders were somehow hearing about Geno and Waluigi being in Smash before the second pass was even set in stone. What are the odds that several people had been hearing rumors of characters who wouldn't be announced until more than two years later for a second wave of DLC that may or may not have happened? To be completely fair to him whenever he brought this fact up ( which it's something that he does a lot) he always specifies that these rumors have been a thing "since" 2018, which implies that Waluigi and Geno have been constantly been heard for 2 years straight among "insider circles".
But then again, considering the individual we're talking about here, I wouldn't be surprised if behind the scenes this "since 2018" could amount to just the NoA guy bringing Waluigi and/or Geno near the game's launch and the Paragon/Cacomallow hoaxes being a thing the following year.
Aug 28 falls on a Friday though and it would be Saturday the 29th in Japan timeOf all dates, August 28th does make a lot of sense for an announcement as it's the Thursday just before the business quarter ends.
But let's wait and see what happens. Wonder if we'll get some new spirits before then.
