As someone who plays on Pokemon Stadium 2 all the time this addition pleases me greatly. Finally quickplay isn't limited to Battlefield and Final Destination jank.

By the way, all stage specific songs can now be played on Battlefield stages and FD. Plus adjustments to the Select Screen:
1. Can now choose random Battlefield or Final Destination Forms
2. New Row. Currently has Terry, Byleth, and Min Min stages.

Minor complaint: You can now have any music play on the Super Smash Bros. series stages, but MyMusic has not been updated accordingly.

The upside is that I don't have to go through 100+ songs 4 times, but I also kind of want the extra control...am I crazy to feel this way?

I mean, that does make sense, but I wouldn’t necessarily say that’s confirmed. Some characters who don’t have too much to pull from stage-wise or music-wise could get in that way. Like Saki Amamiya, I guess.

Wowsers, this was unexpected. But wow non-FP stages being added. And with this update that leaves 3 slots left after Volume 2 maybe:

- Final Destinations being separated
- 2 more past stages not in(Rainbow Road and Sector Z are my guesses).

It’d be cool if it was for series that aren’t getting a playable character. Astral Chain, Ring Fit, Resident Evil, Tekken, Minecraft would be perfect if Steve doesn’t get in, etc...

They do still have a section in MyMusic, but it only has the songs that would play on it before the update.

EDIT: To be clear, the music selection menu on the stage select screen is not MyMusic. That's a separate option.

I think that Sakurai himself hates both of those stages due to rampant use of reused assets. That's why I think that they're not in Ultimate.

I wouldn’t want already existing stages. I’d love to see new stuff.
Although that Monster Hunter stage you fight Rathalos on is looking pretty spicy...

I hate how whoever the Twitter person is didn't even fact check, considering that's not even how Heroes banners are formatted and nobody has found anything for that banner in the data.

People in general should learn to fact check properly and much more in the age where we can fact check anything, but its been the other way around. I mean this is the same crowd that hates games they never played or claim to like others based on what nostalgic people ordered them to but still, as you said a very quick information check other than the tweet would show it.

I'm killing time while I wait for something specific to happen, so I figured I'd join you guys for a bit.

The games people who hate these claim to lack were the least creative and the more by the number in history (which doesnt mean bad game btw), while the ones that they complain without playing had been the most inovatives. You can dislike them if you want so much to agree with nostalgic people who never played it, but you dont get to lie about their characteristics just because creative and the subjective "soul" are "positive" word thus anything you approve must have them and anything you dont want you must not. People who play them will have a very different opinion, and when nostalgia moves forward that opinion will move in the forum discussions too, to the horror of those who thougth they had objective opinions.

I always found it weird how Poke Floats managed to become popular despite that. Was it used in a tournament or something?
