Hard to say.

I'd believe Geno, Crash, Masterchief, Lloyd as third party reps. However, I'm confident that it's not going to be all of them. First party characters are a shoe-in. If from Pokemon, I'd say it's Urshifu. He just looks built for smash, honestly. A Xenoblade character is also a possibility. And I'd be willing to believe Isaac could be the first upgraded trophy.

I'm on the fence for Doomguy. I think there's interest in including Bethesda, but Doom is so violent. Even with Smash pushing the boundaries this iteration ... I still think Doom and Mortal Kombat are just too rough.

The blacksheep that I could see slip in unexpectedly: Agumon. Phoenix Wright. Layton. Ninten. Shantae.


Characters I'd LIKE to see, but I'm not holding out hope for... Lara Croft, Sans, Shovel Knight, Spyro

Or every insider gets this blown up in their face



Or the third option is they just forego an announcement entirely and "Lol have this thing" at some random ass time tomorrow.

Just tossin' my hat into the ring and saying I don't think we're getting a Direct announce at midnight of all times.

IMO it's a Mini shadow drop or nothing tomorrow morning.

well even if nothing is announced I can be pretty sure SOMETHING is happening tommorow. Just what is the question.

Still, I don't think anyone here answered me on are leakers saying anything about this direct other then the mario stuff we knew for months now? If not I think anything is possible if a direct happens tommorow

I think some leaker talked about Pikmin 3 being port, but this has been talked about for a while now. Aside from that we don't really know what will be shown if there's really a direct.

this does make it really seem like any bit of smash news is very unlikely.... but possible

It also looks like this will exclusively feature third party titles, with absolutely no first party coverage whatsoever.
