'realistically' is a lot harder to imagine than you'd think. Bias always creeps in.

My guess would be mostly promotional tie-ins (or promotional in some capacity even if not coming from the exact game). That said, I'd say:

-8th Gen Pokemon Rep (to release around when the Crown Tundra drops)
-Mario RPG Rep (to celebrate Origami King, if the Geno rumors were right, I could see him being the very next fighter...or to celebrate Mario's anniversary since he debuted in the very first Mario rpg series)
-Legend of Zelda Character (Either a new Gannon or Zelda to celebrate Breath of the wild 2...another Non Triforce character is definitely possible, but my money would be on those two getting a new iteration)
-Metroid Character (For the fabled Metroid 4 release)
-Sonic Character (as much as I'd love an all nintendo pass, I think another Sonic character, like Tails, Shadow, or even Eggman/Robotnik is possible. If not in conjunction with another Nintendo Sonic release, just to celebrate Sonic and Mario's new history together)
-Xenoblade Chronicles character (it was too late for the base game, but we're on Pass 2 now....if Sakurai really wanted it, I dont think there's an excuse now lol. he may have decided that if it proved popular enough, he'd do it for pass 2)

1.- Min Min
2.- Geno/Waluigi: I do believe another Mario character is certainly in. The anniversary just kind of sells that idea to me.
3.- Rex: He had the same issue as ARMs characters, and his demand was probably vocal enough to make Nintendo include him.
4.- Dante: Still suspicious about Devil May Cry getting into Nintendo not so long after people became rather vocal about him.
5.- Someone else from Square/Namco/other companies (former just in case Geno isn't in): I just don't know what to expect, so I leave it as a miscellaneous character.
6.- Sora/Master Chief/Geralt: While I don't agree with Imran on the whole approach for the pass as far as third-party charcters go, I don agree where he says there's probably only one or two massive names included. Sora because he's been now the most demanded character for Smash, Chief because he'd be the mascot of a direct competitor, Geralt because he could sneak as a video game character despite the whole book deal.

I think in some ways urshifu would be too similar to incineroar in terms of being a bipedal pokemon fighter (even if inci is a wrestler)
