It's not like the next fighter will be released immediately. It's probably just a reveal trailer with the fighter coming in autumn.

Also, should probably start placing your bets people, pretty clear that the Direct is right around the corner now.

No, the one that was constantly accused of being a cheeky leaker was Jon. Though it stands to reason that several of the members of GameXplain have at least some minor degree of insider information, even if they not all that much.

That's pretty similar to how it was for me. Incineroar was probably the biggest disappointment a final starter evolution was to me since Emboar was yet another fire/fighting type. I kinda like Incineroar in Smash these days, but I'm still not a big fan of it by any means, and still quite dislike it in the context of its home series.

I expect only one character. Kinda like how last E3 revealed 2.

There was no E3 this year so Min Min is reveal one while whatever this one becomes is reveal two

Also, it'd be hilarious if we get a Gen 8 Pokemon and people try and act like it was unpredictable after Byleth and Min Min.

Min Min will always have a place in the competitive scene's (and ESAM's) heart.

As the character who can edgeguard the **** out of people from ridicolously safe distances. (EDIT: ESAM's actually thinking of using Min Min in competitive as his secondary to Pikachu)

As with any tier list, it's opinion-based:



Google doc (June 1st) here. The characters differ slightly when it comes to shot power, angle etc. and that's how the dedicated MTA players came to this conclusion.

So yeah, Bowser Jr.'s fallen really far since then. Waluigi's managed to stay relevant.

1 - yes, I also believe Min Min was to be an E3 reveal. Even without the pandemic and work-from-home system Min Min would've taken quite a while to design and beta test / bugfix, as Sakurai admitted OTL (Our TimeLine).

E3 has been cancelled since what? February? I think Nintendo would have time to repurpose their marketing so I don’t think this Direct (if real) is going to be “the E3 direct but not E3 but still all the hype ever”
