For a Gen 8 rep, Galarian Pokemon trainer would be sick if you ask me. I'm aware that the amount of work it would require for a single DLC character makes it unlikely to happen but still, not impossible considering that Sakurai is a madman (in the best sense of the word).

As for their hypothetical Pokemon lineup, the 3 starters i guess, maybe something like Grookey, Raboot and Inteleon.

I'm sort of sick of final evos and other tough anthro Pokemon being chosen as fighters. When was the last time we had a small cute Pokemon in Smash? Brawl with Squirtle, I guess.

If there is a new Pokemon I want it to be cute and small for a change.

If it makes you feel better, I wanted the Sun and Moon Pokémon to be Rowlet. Not Decidueye or Incineroar, just Rowlet. I'm fine with Incineroar but yeah, it would be nice to have a small cute Pokémon become playable again.

Sometimes I want to think on a ToyAgumon echo, if only cause there's not enough Toy variants to fill out costumes well. But before that, we had generally even costumes till Joker and Meta Ridley, so... eh. Though it's not much easier for ToyAgumon's costumes, really. ClearAgumon is literally just a slightly see-through ToyAgumon. ToyAgumon(Black)/ShadowToyAgumon is a distinct color. You could probably throw in BushiAgumon and SantaAgumon, I guess? Either way, Agumon has tons of potential costumes thanks to the over 10 variants. My general thought would be this;

• Agumon(Yellow)
• Agumon(Black)
• Agumon(White)
• Agumon Hakase[No wand, hat colors instead]
• Agumon(Yellow, Savers Version)
• Agumon(Black, Savers Version)
• Agumon(White, Savers Version)
• Nise Agumon Hakase[No wand, hat colors instead]

Kraid better come with his fake colors~

I can't really say on the other ones cause I don't know the colors all that well. Though I'm probably one of the few people who don't care about the Dante reboot design and would be fine with both. I think his original design works good for the first costume, though.

The coolest part of hypothetically having agumon is that he'd obviously be put in a Bowser JR or Hero type deal since he has alts that are different species entirely, like snow Agumon, Black Agumon and 2006 Agumon

I see no problem with this.

Give him style switching and unique moves for every style too. He’d be very powerful, but very difficult to master.

Definitely not newb friendly, and I’m ok with that.

I have my doubts about whether he’ll get in. Would be nice but I’m not expecting it.

I never claimed he didn't have fans, I'm well aware most of the hate Steve gets is from 40 year old neckbeards who think that whatever game kids today like is the reason that the boomer ****s have an unfulfilled life

Tbf I can kinda understand Crash and Doomguy, both started getting more common in speculation but neither may end up happening, albeit for different reasons

I can afford it, so I'm gonna get season 2 ASAP. I don't know if they're going to reveal anything any time soon, but I definitely wouldn't be surprised if they teased the first season 2 character next week.

Rate my pass. I'd say it's pretty balanced all things considered, but you could say that it rises in (general) hype rather than wanes so it's kind of unrealistic in that aspect.

That literally never works for game balance.

Anyone that plays at a competitive level is going to be good enough to master any character. So if you make one character stronger, everyone is going to play it, no matter how difficult it is.

All you accomplish is making a character that's not fun for lower skill players.

I had an idea once for a Pokémon Trainer that plays like Joker with Arsene.
By default, it would be Red with Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur, Pikachu, Lapras, and Snorlax.
But a Hoenn alt could replace Charizard with Flygon, Snorlax with Slaking, etc.

Like, the Pokémon are his moves.

Pokemon Trainer is one of my most disliked characters. Getting rid of transformation characters is one of the best things they did in Smash 4, and the fact that Trainer brought it back is infuriating. And the idea of getting another one of those, even moreso.

I'd much prefer if each of Trainers Pokemon was a separate character. And then every Pokemon character besides Mewtwo just had it's own Trainer.

Obviously I'd prefer a playable Trainer that's not just a background prop.

I used to consider Simon Belmont an unrealistic want back in Smash 4...
But here we are with two Belmonts.
Edit: Now my new unrealistic want is RuneScape Hero. With a Down-B that swaps between Bob, Dragon Armor, Infinity Robes, and Black Dragonhide.
And the armor would power up some moves and power down other moves, just like in RuneScape.
Bob would be neutral.
Dragon Armor would resist ranged attacks but be weak to magic (energy) attacks.
Infinity Robes would resist melee attacks but be weak to ranged attacks.
And Black Dragonhide would resist magic attacks while being weak to melee attacks.

I have only given up on wanting a character once, and that's Ghirahim. He was one of my most wanteds back in Smash 4. That's also when he had his best shot, because Skyward Sword was the most recent Zelda game at that point in time. Now that Skyward Sword is 9 years old, I think he missed his chance forever. It's a miracle he's even an Assist Trophy.
