Why would Nintendo care about user-made KOS-MOS content for Smash when she’s a creation by Namco? I’m not buying it that Xeno content is coming to MKT. Of all the IPs to pick, they pick one of the least popular ones? It’s does not compute for me, UNLESS they are adding her in to celebrate her inclusion into Smash, but even then I think it’s a stretch.

I don't know if it's tapered off since launch, but I think Mario Kart tour was kicking the crap out of their other mobile games.

KOS-MOS would just look wrong in a game like Mario Kart, her look doesn't fit the universe at all.

Nintendo may be greedy at time, but they aren't that crazy to put a obscure character like KOS-MOS in Mario Kart of all places.

PapaGenos endorsed KOS-MOS, and he said that a known leaker hinted at SOMETHING Halo, not necessarily a Smash reveal, though.
If Master Chief IS the Smash character revealed at TGA, it will be a crowd pleaser.

If it's a manual claim by Nintendo themselves, and as far as we know with the current information that we have, there's no real reason to doubt that, there's only one thing it could really mean.


Unless he big brained a way to take his video down while leaving the message "Copyright claimed by Nintendo".

Honestly, if it's a manual claim, they could have seen it and though "Oh ****, take this down now". The title of the video does not reference it being a mod, just a release. As for Mario Kart, I have no idea unless it really is for pro-mind games.

For now, I'm not taking it to mean anything, I don't want to jump to any conclusions. But this ****ing thing did something the Mii Costume leak couldn't and that's ****ing hilarious.

I'm still learning toward real for Mii Costume leak simply because the guy that leaked Goemon and Team Rocket Mii Costumes also leaked Chocobo and Mallow costumes.

At this point if it's not kos-mos I'll feel genuinely sorry for her fans, considering the sheer amount of fake leaks and made up stuff that we've had up to this point involving her it would mean that they were probably being intentionally targeted by a troll or a group of them. I'd expect this from a character like waluigi or geno, not ****ing kos-mos.

It'd obviously mean the Cacomallow leak is fake because, I mean, look at how widespread it is and no one's gone after it, but this?.... real ****.

Considering it was a Smash mod, it'd be LESS suspicious to claim it as Smash Ultimate.

Let it be known that I've always been more than okay with KOS MOS. Despite not knowing a thing about her, she's a robot chick, with a ****ing gun.


I've always preached that they didn't need a "YUUUUUGE" reveal at the Game Awards because, as I've said, if you haven't bought the pass by now, you obviously weren't going to and would have probably just bought this 5th character separately.

If the KOS-MOS reveal is in the first hour of TGA, I say prepare for a second reveal.

If it wasn't for YouTube's algorithms being complete crap I'd put more faith in that strike, as of right now I'm taking a cautious stance.

But.. Why?

Why not FE: Heroes or that other Dragon mobile game I can't remember the name?

Fire Emblem Heroes doesn't do crossovers, they prefer to focus on their own franchise so KOS-MOS would definitely not be in the cards. Dragalia Lost could since Cygames is definitely open to crossovers, but they already have Mega Man ongoing and Monster Hunter likely in the pipeline so she wouldn't be in the game for at least a few months if at that (plus Cygames wouldn't care about a mod that's not related to their game in any way). Mario Kart Tour would be the only Nintendo mobile game that could have her in the near future if they wanted her in one of their projects.

I was postulating the idea of two reveals earlier today.


It does seem logical to a degree, we know they haven't been working on just a single character since September, and since they're not working on new modes, stuff like characters and stages is basically all that they have left.


Besides, they have to announce the 2nd pass 'eventually', no better place than the Game Awards where there'll be over 20 million eyes on it.
