Yeah these deconfirmations are kind of fun in a way, its forcing us to think of more obscure or unexpected characters. Especially since we know its not the final character, otherwise it would just be disappointing.

With the Mass Destruction Vergeben has created, I think the only one left from the list are either:
  • Sony
  • 2nd party (EarthBound/Pokémon/Kirby/Fire Emblem)

I'm hoping so too (not just because my pipedream happens to be one such out of nowhere choice) but also because it allows people to learn about the character a la:4bayonetta:/:ult_terry:.

If we somehow actually get Kratos, the entire Internet would break. There would be no bigger video game character they could ever announce. We would have reached the top.

What an incredible timeline that would be.

Character 5 is Pajama Sam. Turns out Sakurai is a big fan of 90's edutainment games and wanted to give them their long awaited dues.

Imo, the frontrunners right now are Sony, Riot, Saber and possibly Cygames.

I'd put Valve up there too, but without Gordon I dunno about their chances.

Within the next five days, we'll either get one of the biggest curveballs in Smash history or Vergeben's credibility will take a massive hit.

If it IS Kratos then Nintendo was planning on ending their reveals with the biggest character possible. I don't wanna hear anyone say Smash always ends their reveals in the most underwhelming fashion possible if a Sony rep happens to be FP5. I thought it was ridiculous people continued to say this after Bayonetta ended Smash 4 but no way can anyone say a Sony rep is underwhelming, if anything it's the biggest reveal of the fighters pass.

Excuse me, Fate may have explicit content but most of her Smash moveset would be PERFECTLY for good boys and girls.

Sigh. Looks like it's an all-or-nothing situation for me, the one who clamored too much for a female rep. Saber, or nothing. Either everyone is divided over the confusion of Fate, or one cries in the shadows, questioning why life has been too cruel to the soul of a female gamer whose flame of passion burned out.

This is the most critical time for me, and it's only five days. How much more must I suffer the agonizing pain of waiting, only to never be satisfied in the end.

Oh well, guess TWT Grand Finals is tomorrow, maybe that could ease the pain somehow..
