The only company I recall getting shafted was Falcom. And I never heard of Falcom before they shut down Falcom in the start.

This place is way less vitriolic and headache-inducing than the Geno thread is right now

Can I just stay here? I'm nice, I like chicken nuggets, I'm a specialist in one specific origami airplane, and I can make spaghetti. :drflip: (Also I'm excited for literally anyone we could possibly get at this point. The floodgates have opened!)

I literally can’t sleep knowing what has happened on the site and how it is to some extent my fault. I basically had to sneak my way through into my iPad without having my mother noticing me because I really can’t stand what I have done right now. If she finds out I am dead.

And right now, I am tempted to ask a huge question. One I never wanted to ask but sadly feel should be told after what I just did:

Do most of you want me to delete my Smashboards account for good?

Because I feel I should after the stuff I did at the Geno thread.

You didn't do anything. Scoot the Burbs posted a truth with some heat behind it, and that's where it all really snowballed. All you did was testify, and that is not wrong of you.

I, for one, find your presence to be wonderful.

The problem is that you're serious, but when we call your arguments out for being not being well-thought out, you end up just repeating what you said instead of humoring other possibilities or actually backing your arguments up with evidence.

No, its fine; you said what needed to be said. You shouldn't feel guilty in the slightest.

In fact, it's probably more my fault then anything; considering I'm the one who asked about "Why Nightmare was being talked about in the Geno thread", which probably kickstarted the entire thing in a way.

EDIT: To be clear, I personally don't feel guilty about it. It was going to happen some time or later.

No one has definite evidence in this scenario! It’s a guessing game with puzzle pieces that are not supposed to be put together before the launch of the fighter. Why doesn’t anyone understand this when they ask for the “evidence”? It’s like playing mafia.

Yeah, my anxiety does really tend to make me see a lot of problems which in the end may or may not even exist at all.

It is a problem I wish I didn’t have, but sadly do.

I'm fine with how it's all supposed to be a guessing game. I think most people have an issue with how you grab false information and logical leaps out of thin air and then try to pass it on like it's the definitive truth. And then when we correct you, you go, "Nope!"

I do have to say though, the leaker drama, while totally meaningless, is interesting.

It's funny to see people so attached to this one anonymous being. It's like a free internet army that will fight by your side for free if they ever say mean things on the internet about you. And for what? Literally nothing, at most you get told who's going to be in a fighting game assuming they're even right.

With the VGAs so close it's damn near useless to even follow them, their information is pretty much insignificant now. :dr^_^:

Out of all the characters the forum sees as likely right now, Phoenix is my personal favorite.

But, even more strongly, I want Sora, despite never playing his games. Some of my friends love Kingdom Hearts, and I want them to have fun with him in Smash. I'm willing to put their wishes above mine.

And I'm still very much hoping passionately for an indie game character as a "dark horse" option. If not for #5, then at least for later. Frisk is my personal preference, but there's very few indie protags I would be actively disappointed in.
