I never actually knew the name of the Death Stranding protag until like a few days after the game came out, because everyone I ever met who talked about the game just called him Norman Reedus.

Eh, Norman Reedus seems like a character that fits PSASBR more then Smash.

If he gets in, I bet a ton of people would genuinely be upset considering DS is:

1) A completely new IP that only released last month.
2) The game is available on 0 Nintendo systems.
3) Putting literally Norman Reedus in Smash is a bigger stretch then putting Geralt in Smash.
4) On top of this the game is already controversial.

So I doubt we'll get Norman Reedus in Smash.

Probably the main reason why we're going through this game of "20 questions" with Fighter 5, if I had to take a guess. One of the insiders who knows Fighter 5's true identity is treading on thin ice, and outright saying who Fighter 5 is would get them fired, whereas it's probably a lot safer to say who Fighter 5 isn't.

All Sabi and Vergeben know is who it's not. Their sources are the ones who hold the information. Those two just relay it.

If they knew who it was, at least one of them (probably Sabi) would've strongly hinted at such, at least in the way they respond to new rumours. I mean, Sabi precipitated the Dante rumour. That's not what you do if you actually know who it is.

B-Bio-Bomb (Because Blood is a no-no in Smash)
Side B- Strand garrote
Up B- Ladder
Down B- The move that is usually reserved for Conker's moveset

Final Smash- British Telecom attack!
BTs attack the other players while the Baby keeps Sam safe.

Sam could have an original moveset like that. Not expecting seeing him in Smash, I mean, if Sakurai goes for a Sony rep for sure it wouldn't be Sam. Between that and the fact Death Stranding came out a few weeks ago and that the game is a completely new IP, I think even Goku is more likely than Sam lol.

But I don't agree that the game's pacing is boring, in any case I guess that's a different topic.

I enjoy the speculation. I just hate the insanity. The same arguments. The in-fighting.

FP5 is literally Terry's trailer all over again. Instead of SNK characters trying to grab a letter, it's a bunch of 3rd party characters. Poor Ezio. He tried to perform a leap of faith to grab the letter but came up too short, and now he's falling to his doom as there's no haystack to break his fall.

I think that it's too early for a Death Stranding character to get in. There would also be extra costs to doing so because they would have to get the rights to use Norman Reedus' likeness.
