Scummy, but not strong. I think it's possible for newbies to not have scumreads in D1, but Soren doesn't seem very interested in learning how to scumhunt. He hasn't asked many questions on what to do etc.

The purpose of any game is to win, I cannot ensure town will survive if I don't, as such its better for me to "go with the flow" and vote for someone who seems to be under suspicion and will likely be lynched regardless of my actions

I will notice you stopped trying to control the game after I called you out on it I might add.

Still I lack the skills in reading people the rest of you have, this is as you can see my first mafia game. A response you see as cryptic will really be, quite plain and open.

@All: Soft-claim is when you part claim or claim a certain piece of information about your role. I believe Ran is talking about when Soren used the word 'vanilla'. However this could be just using the word vanilla to mean plain or simple, talking about his playstyle. My suggestion is we just ignore it and move on to avoid role speculation.

Yes, as the article states, little attention should be payed to this unless Ran flips scum. If Seik flipped scum I'd still take it as a small scumtell on Ran but not much.



@Kuz: How eager was Seik to accept reads in Dissidia? Like, looking at your #1044. You say pressuring inactives could be done as scum, yet Seik accepts me as town for it.

#1052 Seik justifies him attacking the people on the wagon by saying doing so with lack of discussion is bad. Why didn't he just say 'stop voting so fast, he's L-2/1/whatever' He's changed his story right there

If my vote is on Seik what do you think my read of him is?

not gonna lie I've done this as scum so many times. In Allstars the town vig was about to get lynched and I claimed guilty on Gheb the indy (I was stalker). And I used that exact line of reasoning to ride it to the win. Having looked at that Seik post I see a little bit of get-out-clausing but I disagree with Soup when he says Seik knows Ran's alignment. Thats not actually suggested in that post

Having thought some more it is scummy even if Ran flips town what seik said about Ran. It is kinda setting people up to be scummy when ran flips town. Pretty sure I did that in ToS as a noob.

Would like to hear some specifics from kuz about Ranmaru

i took "Hey. Yeah." to mean you were comfortable with an aa lynch. Are you saying you are uncomfortable with an aa lynch? you say you wern't saying anything about aa, were you dodging an answer?

wasn't purposely dodging the 2nd. I followed kuz because following kuz led me to find scum. So i thought it was a valid strategy. I wasn't parroting, i was finding my own evidence as well.

I have asked a few questions of siek/aa. More concerned with questioning you atm, because kuz sees pure town in you now and i want to be a lot more sure before i just follow his reads again.

My read on JTB is null-town, as it has been since sometime during that swords wagon. He does need to post more ToDay though.
