Would be super funny if his son isn't 17+So let me get this straight. He wanted Snake in Smash for his son?
But wait, he wanted to expose younger people to a rated M series? Lol. I doubt that's what he had in mind, but still.
Go for it! At least it's a little taste of Smash"Wonders if should be added to info thread."
Just use my idea on multiple costumes for select characters. Could have link with his OOT getup and TP ect. They could still be the same character as from Skyward Sword. For Link it doesn't mather a ****, for Zelda, it would be a world of difference which Zelda you'd use.
Oracle games were before Melee, actually.Well, that's true. Yet, there wasn't a Zelda game in between those games really. All we had was OOT and MM. So that's still a logical move.
I don't see the harm in it, Its the perfect way to appease fans of past titles as well. Will Zelda change her face and everything in the same way to?
If sakurai were to use ganon oracle design, I think ppl would say hes pulling a "Dissidia" as in Final fantasy dissidia. They use modified artwork of designs that didn't make it into the main FF games. We should've had that awesome Gdorf Oracle design then. Sakurai, wtf?![]()
Nintendo probably didn't give him Sakurai the concept art. Also, it was less than a year that the Oracle games were released. He may have decided on the OOT design first. Remember, while it's true that Young Link was obviously Majora's Mask inspired, they were all n64 era anyway. We should've had that awesome Gdorf Oracle design then. Sakurai, wtf?![]()
That will help her travel to OoT so she can transform againDon't worry August, she got a bodyguard with her.![]()
My guess is that he was already checking out the future of Ganondorf with that tech demo, why else would he have a sword then? Not that he used it... But yeah.Nintendo probably didn't give him Sakurai the concept art. Also, it was less than a year that the Oracle games were released. He may have decided on the OOT design first. Remember, while it's true that Young Link was obviously Majora's Mask inspired, they were all n64 era anyway.
Just like in Brawl, everybody was GameCube era.
You were playing as the main Zelda villain. That's a key point to the popularity. People don't play characters just because of their playstyle. That may be who they become good with.He was only enjoyable because he was somewhat good. Then again, that's where Sheik mainly got all her popularity from so I refuse to be surprised...
Diddy, people chose her because she wanted to play as her. There was not a tier list for a long time. Maybe later they did, but not from the start. That's just not how it works when a game is first played. Seriously.Or because the character is a ninja, a hinted transexual and a easy to learn, yet extremely powerful character compared to the rest of the cast (top of the Melee tiers for quite some years).
I didn't. Sheik was even in my top 10 in melee.Everyone feels comfortable with Melee Sheik. She's so easy to learn, and so extremely good at the same time. Everyone would notice that directly.
Hey Diddy, Heres a thought for that maybe could work.Well, it's not entirely baseless I'm thinking. Surely people would recognise Sheik if they played Zelda. But her role wasn't too great, and I'd in fact say that most of her popularity came from Melee.
How she was designed to play as has a lot to do with this too. And it in fact also really helps she's easy to learn, yet extremely rewarding.
Do you think most Marth mains / fans / enthousiasts for example are die hard Fire Emblem fans? I'm not complaining cause he's in fact really re-occuring at this point and he's the face of Fire Emblem so...
In fact, most Fire Emblem forums still get the question: R MARTH / ROY / IKE IN DIZ GAEM?? from time to time.
Yes, this has been suggested a lot of times before. And also by me. The beauty lies in the simplicity.Hey Diddy, Heres a thought for that maybe could work.
What if zelda would call on Impa and switch with her and then fight instead of turning into shiek? It would reasonable make much more sense with the skyward sword version.
Yes, you like the playstyle more than the character mostly. Which is why I want to keep Sheik's playstyle in at all cost with Impa. I could easily suggest many other Zelda characters instead of her, and Sheik would still be gone. Then again, I don't like any other Zelda character as much as Impa so that solves a lot of stuff. You're narrowing reasons to play a character down to too few factors it's more than accessibility and familiarity. I liked Roy in melee because if his neutral B that has nothing to do with either if your parameters. I liked ness in 64 because if his unique recovery again nothing to do with your parameters. While I have heard if Zelda and played some of the games in the series I have never completed one all the way through yet I have mained an incarnation of link in all 3 smash bros and toon link was just recently made high tier. See where in going?
