No. I am pretty sure Masked Marth/Martha is a different character from Krom. You even see Krom attack Masked Marth in the first trailer to the game. The game's story talks about TWO heroes having the mark of the dragon (one having the mark of a dragon that is the protector of mankind, the other having the mark of a dragon that wants to destroy it).

Also, wow at that concept art for Zelda, I would really like to see that in a future game to the series.

I definitely won't be following another Smash Bros. game after Smash 4. I no longer have the tolerance for idiocy I once had. This goes both for Smash Bros. fan and video game fans as well. I will not buy another console after the Wii U. I really don't like it that I am going to be waiting nearly three years for Smash 4 to be released.

I don't think people in this thread understand that I really don't have much to look forward in regards to Smash 4 (Ridley, Mega Man, Mewtwo, Roy, K. Rool, Dixie Kong, Toad, and Little Mac being the only characters I have any interest in).

After Marth and Ike, I agree. Krom I have no opinion on yet, other than he looks not bad. Actually, I can't think of a Fire Emblem (main) Lord I don't like.

What would people think if Smeargle is one of the Poke Ball Pokemon that you can release!? It could use Sketch to copy a random player's special move, and then use it against your opponent.

I wouldn't mind this, seeing as it wouldn't take too much time to make. Personally I think it would take a while to get all the "Sketch" moves though.

Still Sakurai has pulled out a random Pokémon (Jigglypuff, Pichu, and the Pokémon Trainer) and a logical Pokémon newcomer (Pikachu, Mewtwo, and Lucario) in each smash game, so a "WTF?" Pokémon isn't out of the question. Nothing can be considered as "no chance," especially when it comes to Pokémon.

@Honestly, all I really want from Pokemon is Mewtwo to return, Lucario to stay, and for a 5th gen rep of some kind to be added. Zoroark isn't at the top of my favorites list, but I'd take him (I suppose I would have no choice, would I?). Genesect's reveal may not be as far off as most think, so maaybeeee...

From what Chrono posted, it seems that demand is somewhat high for a 5th gen trainer, and if N is the focus of Black & White 2 like many are speculating, then my wildest dreams just may come true. Just as long as he doesn't use the starters. I mean, I like the Unova starters, but can we please please get some variety up in here? Just grab three Pokemon from 5th gen; there are very few that are unpopular and/or disliked (I love you, Garbodor and Stunfisk...).

In a perfect universe, I could make my own Smash Bros. game and include all the Pokemon characters I wanted. Then I wouldn't have to argue with people on the internet. But what would be the fun in that?

I would see Andross working more like Tiki Tong, where you hurt his hands AND head. This is of course, going by the canon StarFox 64/Adventures appearance. I don't know what Sakurai was thinking when he said that the original StarFox appearance had the most impact, while giving a quote from 64...

Sakurai doesn't care about what game it is from as much as we do. I could see him work as a hand and head, but that seems to take away from the role of the Hands (maybe future parts) and even Tabuu. Also, something tells me he never played a Star Fox game after Star Fox Adventures (64 3D aside).

But I'm not saying Waluigi has the best shot or is a shoo-in. I'm saying that he can't be counted out, which many people do to him.

To 100% count any character in or out for these forthcoming smash bros games is silly. I agree.

I counted out Ness right before he was confirmed. We all counted out ROB because he was a common enemy in the SSE, and that was wrong. Waluigi could always happen. Personally, I think there is a small, but very possible chance that a Waluigi could be a late clone of Luigi.

Doesn't matter. Clearly, their current places are where they belong. After all, Sakurai picked them for that spot instead of being playable. To decide whether they "deserve" more or not dwells on personal belief. Especially considering that importance doesn't play a role in character decision. Popularity does, and these characters as well as Waluigi have their share of popularity. Mac, Saki, and Isaac, moreso in the West. Starfy and Waluigi, moreso in the East.

The only character from a spin-off was Doctor Mario, who was a super quickly crafted Melee clone. About half the playable characters are the main character of their said game/series. That doesn't automatically put Issac in and Waluigi out, but it is something of a pattern Sakurai has done/had in the past.

And doesn't matter. According to you, they have found their places with what they have. To argue otherwise is hypocritical, as it's "So-and-so found their place, but Whatshisname didn't because *insert reason here*".
And you said yourself, Ridley makes sense as a boss. Likewise, Toad makes sense as Peach's meat shield. Palutena makes sense in assisting Pit with her army.

No, I'm saying Waluigi's role is similar to his role in the Mario spin-off franchise. Starfy and Little Mac in their franchises are "the guy." Again, my previous point states that this doesn't automatically put them in, but if anyone from their series gets considered, it will be them. You can't say that with Waluigi.

Gardevoir comes to mind immediately, as do Breloom, Flygon, Aggron, and many more.

It just bums me out when I see someone say, "Oooooh, maybe _________ could be a playable Pokemon!" then the masses echo, "Naw, __________ should be a Pokeball Pokemon."

I mean, doesn't anyone want to see non-legendaries/popular because of one movie Pokemon playable? I got nothin' against these Pokemon, but they aren't the only representers of the series.

So far, I've only played one match. Tour Mode, Mario Stadium. Took me about 2 hours, though.

I like it. The computers are a really good challenge. Wario was "B" while DK and Diddy were "D", and I beat Wario with a lucky promotion.

I'd rather not having two Pokemon Trainers. I wouldn't mind if they went with the Leaf/Red designs, but kept the original name so you could switch without issues. But with 1st, 2nd, 3rd Gen Pokemon. It's not flavor of the month, but Deoxys' formes bring a lot of uniqueness to the table. I don't want him cause of the legendaries, but because of the transformations.

No to two Pokémon Trainers with different Pokémon, but yes to alternate looks. If we got the 1st Gen female trainer as an alternate outfit, that would be cool. It would attract all dem ladies to play with the PokémanhZ!!! Also, we could always get Squirtle in sunglasses, Charizard with glasses, and Ivysaur with tap dancing shoes!

I am a huge Ridley fan, and I stayed away from the Ridley support thread due the amount of idiocy going around in it. I have been a huge fan of Ridley since 1994, and I have hoped for a playable appearance for him ever since I saw the Melee intro. Heck, I had hopes of a playable Ridley even before that, but I thought such a thing was unlikely due to the fact that Metroid had not had a new game since 1994.

And yeah, Wiseguy was me ole' rival, whereas Omega (along with Loooni [who has come here once or twice] and Homelessvagrant) were my pals back then. We used to run a clan, actually, and we had a lot of fun doing it. Also, do any of y'all remember my pal Homelessvagrant/Church=??? Bro was wicked tight.

Yeah, it became too much of a social club where those who were in were welcomed, and those who weren't were shown the door. I was actually "left out" most of the time because I wasn't active enough on that thread and with that "Ridley Alliance" group. I always liked to visit several threads I was interested in then. Apparently to most the people in the thread Ridley (Geno), themselves, and other super active members of their group were their only interests. Many of those people posted about 50 times a day, and that was the only thread they visited.Heck, I think even Psycho may have been "left out" a few times, and we all remember how active he was! Of course it's a lot easier to post more when you don't multi-quote everyone like I have a habit of doing!

By the way Oasis/anyone else, have you guys talked to Legolastorm recently=??? You should tell him to get his English bum in this thread ASAP!

Thanks Oasis! Yep, that's most likely it. So it's just a rumor? Well, either way, it could be true, and Sakurai is the greatest troll on the planet, or just a fib.

I guess either way it helps, as Muddy did get a mention on Sakurai's Brawl list thing, so this could very well be what was said.
