It looks like Palutena is in the kitchen. Hence having to fight a vegetable monster. She's so useless.

Nice observation considering that a cooking contest does take place during Palutena's story. However, a vegetable army crashes the contest.

I guess the vegetables want revenge for always getting eaten.

Anyway, a vegetable army would make a rather amusing addition to the list of Adventure Mode enemies, especially if the Eggplant Wizard is involved.

Crono is okay, I have nothing against him, and I must admit I'm rather interested in picking up his game sometime. A role in Smash would probably be the convicing factor for me.

Although the Square Character that I would perfer the most would the Black Mage...

I think that Samus' screw attack should be like her Melee Screw Attack, but with more knock back (where it could kill a bit before 200% for middleweight characters), vulnerable frames after being hit, and less vulnerable frames for Samus after said move (but just enough where you could punish her for going for a good hit). I also think that the frames should make it sound like a super combo with some Smash 64-esk sound effects. Seriously, each version of Smash 64 had some of the most awesome sound effects EVER!!!

Nah, I think Geno could use a lot of unique long-ranged attacks. Personally, I have always wanted to see a character with a lot of long-range moves, and so far, we don't have anything like that (the closest thing is Link/Young Link/Toon Link with 3 projectiles). Geno fits that description as well as anyone.

Geno also could have some unique short range-weapons. Plus, Geno is a Boba Fett-esk quiet and all-around awesome bro. Geno is a simple character who has a simple objective. That is why people like him. It's not like any Nintendo character is ultra complicated.

Crono, while awesome, I don't think would add that. Also, while Cecil would be nice (I love FFIV), but I think Terra's (more diverse) moves are a better fit for Smash.

Crono would be a great playable character, assist trophy character, etc.

Secondly, Geno is the benefactor of a fanbase that loves the game more than they love him. I'm sorry, I love Super Mario RPG to death, but I did not and still do not understand the obsession with Geno. He is the poster child for the word over rated.

WHAT IS THERE TO GET? People like him. I think Megaman is pretty overrated, and quite frankly one of the most boring choices I could think of. So much hassle for such a uninteresting character.

This is why arguments here are literally pointless. Nobody here is changing my mind about the characters I like, and vice-versa.

The moment you injure someone's ego by holding a different opinion, they suddenly attack you, wilding their opinion as a matter of fact.

Not saying I'm not guilty of blurring the lines between objective and subjective material, but I do like to think that I make every effort to base my opinions and defenses of said opinions on fact and logic.

Both Mega Man and Geno are overrated to me, though Mega Man at least makes sense due to his psuedo-Nintendo icon status. (Likewise, I would support Simon Belmont and Banjo-Kazooie if they had chances, as they too are psuedo-Nintendo icons.)

Geno's worse than what is said about Waluigi, as Geno too has not been in a "mainstream" Mario game, and he's only been in one that is old (cameo in another not counting), and is not even owned by Nintendo.

Nah, Mega Man is better off with projectiles like Link or Samus (2 or 3 different projectiles that function differently).

Also, we love characters BECAUSE THEY ARE IN GREAT GAMES! Mario wouldn't be worth a crap to most of us if all of his games were garbage. If Mario had games were all garbage, you wouldn't give two seconds to the thought of Mario being playable. Nobody gives a crap about anything in bad games.

IMO it's still a crap ton better than all the garbage spin-offs Waluigi has been in (all those boring soccer games, the awful Mario Party Gamecube titles, the boring baseball games, Mario Kart Double Dash, etc). Also, lol at people still playing DDR! Plus Super Mario RPG, IMO, was truly a classic game. It never gets old to me, and never bores me.

Plus at least most of us Geno fans recognize he has little to no chance (at least now they do). Most Waluigi fans (not you Golden, you're smart) think he is as likely as Mario!

Also, how can Mega Man be overrated=??? The dude WAS Nintendo's biggest 3rd party character in the 80's, bar none. No character or series even came close to how important he was (as a 3rd party character), and no character or series probably ever will.
