In terms of Ridley and K. Rool...

Ridley: I don't exactly see him as being super heavy. Maybe more in the mid-heavy category; somewhere around Link's weight or Wolf's weight.

King K. Rool: I'd like to see him surpass Bowser's weight by a couple points. Brute force and super heavy, but very sluggish sounds like the proper recipe for K. Rool.

I would make Ridley heavier than Samus. Does not seem right that he would be lighter.

No one really wants to support any new Fire Emblem character even though Krom is half heartedly expected... they just want Marth, Roy, and Ike, period.

No one really supports Toad, Bowser Jr., Paper Mario, or Waluigi because these characters are always contested but most people don't question Dr. Mario simply because he was in Melee.

No one really wants to support any new Zelda characters... they are all questioned... Tingle, Ghirahim, Impa, Demise, even Toon Zelda... let's keep it at Link, Zelda, Sheik, Ganondorf, and Toon Link and let's just add back Young Link because he was in Melee.

People generally don't want new characters. They want the same old characters. Sakurai shouldn't bother wasting his time and energy with Smash 4... none of the newcomers he adds will make the fans happy anyway. Let's just play Melee and/or Brawl.

Trying to predict what will happen to the Pokemon series in Smash Bros. 4 is only widely homogeneous in regard to the ideas of all the old reps staying and Mewtwo returning. Several think that we'll get another (as we should), but trying to predict whether that will happen or who we'll get is almost literally useless.

@HyperFalcon I actually see Genesect being announced much earlier than people think, mostly because of Meloetta having a cameo in the new Black/White movies. She's supposed to have her own movie by the end of the year, which means Genesect can't be far off.

As for how to get it, I would be surprised if they didn't do a Wi-Fi distribution like they did with all the other event Pokemon. But it being a major factor/catchable in Black & White 2 would certainly be welcome.

Bring back Dr. Mario, Mewtwo, and Roy just because they were in Melee and were planned to be in Brawl. After all, Sakurai needs to add them back as a way to apologize for upsetting the fanbases for cutting them from Brawl. Add Dixie Kong, Toon Zelda, and Toon Sheik just because they were planned to be in Brawl. Add only six newcomers who were not planned to be in Brawl because we need villains, a third Fox clone, and Mega Man. Heck, let's just add more clones. New characters who aren't villains are too stupid and not interesting... so let's just have two different ways to play as Mario, Link, Zelda, Sheik, Captain Falcon, Ness and Marth... and a whopping four different ways to play as Fox. It sells. It's what people want. I mean, there is a reason why this roster is generally considered one of the best rosters ever posted on the Internet by the majority of Smash fans. Just ask those people on this thread, you know the ones who know all about marketing and sales figures.

Say what you want about Krystal, with picks like these I don't feel bad you're wrong.

I can see why you would say that about Waluigi (generally hated), Groose (considered to be a joke), Nightmare (boss material), Peppy (not a blue space fox with a vagina), Shake King (obscure), and Shadow (generally disliked), but what is the problem with Medusa? She's the main villain.

And no, I'm not wrong. There is nothing redeeming about a character that only appeals to furries and would not make a lick a difference if "killed off" from the series.

She is overrated in terms of her chances as a playable character. You say she's likely, and Ganondorf had a 70% and 80% chances of returning on different occasions.

Meanwhile, we are talking about Impa when we should be talking about the likes of Issac, Pac-Man, and Tails.

And it's not really sure wether Toon Link will return or not in the upcoming games. He might be done for for now.

Nobody is sure, but as of now I think he is pretty much guaranteed to be the "Young Link" (at least the Toon Link from Spirit Tracks).

The situation where Doc where to get in as a 6th Mario filler rep is bigger to me than Roy being a 4th Fire Emblem character.

We aren't playing as franchises, we are playing as CHARACTERS! If you want to talk about how we play as franchises, go to GameFAQs, IGN, Nsider, etc.

That is because they feel threatened by Krom. They fear that Krom might c***block Ike or especially Roy from getting in Smash 4. That is why they hype Krom's game... To check out the competition.

That's not the only reason. We all like Ike, and he's most likely not going anywhere. The main reason we are hesitant about Krom is because we don't know jack crap about Krom. We don't know whether his game is good (the only character from a "bad game" in my estimation is the Ice Climbers), we don't know much about what attacks he could use, and we don't know anything about Krom as a person.

Why can't we just wait for a character's game comes out before we judge whether we think they should be in smash=??? Besides, it's not about representation (with the roster), again. It's about CHARACTERS! Representation is done through trophies, stickers, music, stages, single-player content, assist trophy characters, NPCs, and bosses.

I'm sorry, but this is why to me the tourneyfans will always be a hilarious lot to me.

Project M is suppose to stand for PROJECT MELEE. The development team is making the game play like Melee with the Melee cast play like they did in Melee. There are dozens of mods that are totally different. Brawl Plus where it's Melee techs in Brawl. Balance Brawl where the roster and gameplay is more balanced and efficient. Heck, there's even a Brawl mod that makes the game play like something out of DRAGON BALL Z! Geesh can we let people mod a game the way they want without judging them=???

Stop hating on tournament players. It's not all "super duper serious" bro. Yesterday I was talking with guys I was going to hang with at the next tournament I was going to and we were gonna do a 10k (in Monopoly Money) money match in the bathroom and look at the screen via mirrors.

Check the Monroe Declaration, it states that (back in Early U.S. times) that if Europeans tried to colonize the Western Hemisphere any further they would have to deal with the U.S.

It took what=??? A few days to make him=??? Mario's moveset has been heavily influenced by Doc. Without him, Mario would probably suck even in Brawl.

In my eyes for another StarFox character:

No new StarFox character > Peppy= Leon > Andross w/ an original humanoid design > Slippy > Panther > Krystal.

Peppy and Leon are my top 2 choices, though I favor Peppy more.

Personally, I think that we really have overrated Krystal's chances over the years. I use to think Krystal had like a 75% chance pre-Brawl. Many people (some smart, but most of them moronic) thought I was way under balling her chances like an idiot. Boy, I (somewhat) had the clear last laugh.

I really don't think Krystal has really much of a chance to be quite honest. It seems like Sakurai would be more interested going with other more modern characters (Issac, Saki, Starfy, Bowser Jr. etc) who were Assist Trophies (except Bowser Jr.), as well as other staple Nintendo characters (Toad, Paper Mario, Little Mac) and purely retro characters (Takamaru, Mach Rider, Balloon Fighter, and the likes). Plus all these "proofs" that Sakurai likes Krystal have been absolutely debunked!

Yes! I advocated for this before Brawl. But alas, Sakurai made fun of Andross. So I have low, low hopes for this version.

Here is my ancient moveset.

The ape would wear a belt with gadgets, devices, and potions holstered and strapped on. He would have a leather vest with a V neck split to allow his furry chest hair to stick out. Also goggles would be mounted on his hair and he would have a black cloak. Andross would also have metal gloves with thrusters located on the palm. The thrusters would act kinda like jetpacks allowing Andross to jump high and float a little of the floor like Mewtwo. The thrusters would also allow him to propel his punches, making him stronger then he would be. He would be a floaty character unless you press down while he was in the air. Then the engines would shut off and the metal gloves would make him a fast faller.

Walk: His hands would be at his sides with the thrusters on. Blue fire would expel from his palms and he would slowly foot a few inches off the ground toward his oppenent.

Run: Andross holds his hands behind him and the thrusters shoot out longer flames propelling Andross forward at a high speed similar to Pichu's. Terrible at quick turns.

Running A: Andross would bring his hands forward to clap at the enemy. The movement of his thruster enabled gloves would make his jolt backwards a little distance as he clapped. Sends oppenent forward. Good for setting some distance between fighters.

A: Punch
AA: Punch and then extended palm
AAA: Punch, then extended palm, then another extended palm
AAAAunch, one extended palm plant, then another, then the thrusters would turn on really quick propelling Andross backwards a few feet.

>A: Andross hovers with hands at the side and kicks at the oppenent

^A: Andross uppercuts, thruster turns on, and Andross lifts a foot higher off the floor before thruster snaps off and he descends back into hovering position, when the thruster turns back on.

Duck: Thrusters turn off and Andross crouches on the floor.
Down A: Thrusters turn on quickly, making Andross to a quick spin while crouching with one foot stuck out. Accelerated Sweep kick.

Forward Smash: Swings one arm around in a full circle with thruster on leaving a trail of fire. Metal fist crashes to the floor. If A is pressed again, his other glove thruster will turn on and repeat the pattern going forward.

Down Smash: Andross clasps his gloves together and hammerfists the ground making the floor ripple in a set circumference around him. Sends oppenents upwards. Some rocks and debris might pop up and hover a foot in the air for a few seconds after for effect only.

Up Smash: Andross Machine gun punches upward, juggiling the oppenent

Down B: Andross's cape whirls outward. Flat Metal rectangles come flying out from the background and form steps for Andross to walk on. Five blocks come out. Andross can walk back and forth or just one way or even diagnol. This could be used to make a cieling so oppenents can't jump upward to get back on stage. Andross falls afterwards and can't use moves until he hits the ground.

Forward B: Andross throws a Vortex Grenade from his belt. It explodes after seven seconds. Could be picked up and thrown by others. Only one Grenade could be on the floor at a time. When it explodes it makes a blackish blue sphere which sucks in anyone nearby including Andross. Radius like Kirby's except all the way around the sphere. Does damage and keeps person in place like Young Link's Up B spin. Good way to trap oppenents.

B: Andross extends both palms forward and a green grid shaped like a metal rectangle block shoots out. If B is pressed while the green grid is going forward it will solidify into a metal step rotating forward in the air. If it hits an oppenent it will smash and do damage to the enemy. If the oppenent has a high percentage it might carry the enemy with it for a few moments before cracking and exploding. Only one could be out at a time.

Up B: Andross does a backflip and disappears into a blue vortex. You could angle the direction of his reapperance like Zelda's Up B. Except it is about half as long.

Air Battle:

Nuetral A: Does a Midair flip similar to Captain Falcon's Up A. But much weaker.
Forward A: Midair slap with metal glove.
Backward A: Andross extends one arm backwards and his glove spews out a spout of fire to rack up damage on oppenent. Sends Andross forwards a little.
Down A: Does a split in the air with his legs and throws one heavy gloved hand downwards between open legs. Meteor Smash.
Up A: Andross reaches upward with a metal glove in a grabbing motion. If he hits an oppenent he throws them downward. Down throw is weak, oppenent goes underneath Andross setting him up for a down A move.

Andross Throws: Grabs oppenent with metal glove.
A: Burns oppenent with thrusters on glove.
Forward: Skids forward on feet briefly before swinging his arm in a full circle still clutching the enemy and finally releasing him forward in an arch. A little further then Mario's forward throw but due to arch harder to die from.
Backward: Quick throw backwards. Straight trajectory.
Downward: Throws oppenent to the ground and machine gun punches their body until they jolt upwards.
Upward: Andross teleports the oppenent a few feet above him. Oppenent disappears in a flash of blue and then a portal opens above Andross. At this point the oppenent could jump or attack once he or she exits telport.

Toon Ganondorf would be awesome and could make up for Ganondorf's lack of sword. Much better than Toon Zelda.

Everybody talks about Geno, but where is the love for Mallow? I would love his inclusion too.

I'm not sure about Sonic. Tails seems most likely, being Sonic's partner. However, Knuckles makes more sense from a gameplay perspective, being that he his a fighter. Personally though, I would love to see Dr. Robotnik! If only Sonic was a Nintendo character, maybe then we could have them all.

Kirby series-Poppy Bro Jr.

It makes sense though. Some want Bomberman, some want a fourth Kirby rep(that isn't Bandana Dee). Poppy Bro Jr. is like a first-party Bomberman with a cool hat.

They should add a basic enemy character from each series. A Koopa Troopa. A Shy Guy. A Kremling. A Moblin. A Space Pirate. A Poppy Bro Jr. A Scalding Coffee Cup... (Earthbound, anyone?)
