Nah, I know how you feel, but from what I've heard, it IS a great game, so you should at least rent it if you have a 3DSAm I a bad person for not being interested in MK7 cause Diddy is not in it?
Personally, I'm still waiting for the day when they finally make Double Dash 2

I think they'll just remake Double Dash sometime for 3DS. It's cool, cause playing with Diddy was awesome in it. Also the first time bananas took him to the semi God tier. ^^

But anyway, I'm thinking of a moveset for Goroh. I watched some F-Zero videos, as I've never played it. I'm thinking a Down B involving a temporary Speed Boost would be cool and fitting. What do you guys think?

I'd play under Shortie's roster if it got rid of some of the randoms, and atleast one of those Pokemon, and some others that are overrepped, and put in the 3 staple 3rd Parties. Until then, won't buy it for that. Especially when some of the choices are very facepalm-worthy.
In general, you shouldn't have any more reps than the actual amount of games you have under your belt. In other words, 4 Mother characters is overdone.

I imported more music from Java's old music archive into mine
Gonna continually update it with more music selections as I'm not finished bringing everything to this archive yet

BTW, props to Java for organizing all the original music selections in his archive, or else I wouldn't have been able to do this. Seriously, Java's the man

I'll say one thing though in that there's a lot of missing main line Mario music from that list, as well as F-Zero. (Out of all the character themes, Black Shadows? Really? No Dr. Stewart? Or Goroh? Or Octoman? Blood Falcon and Deathborne's were better I'd say too) Also Star Fox. And you should check the links for some of those things. The Sin & Punishment links for instance..

Well, I found new links replaced the ones for for most of the Sin and Punishment music, but I had to get rid of a few altogether because I couldn't find any videos with the music, mostly the Star Successor music (though there was one I could find)
@Horsetail- I will eventually, and I'll probably post all that in the BR, too. That's one reason why I broke up all the music into subsections since I can't post it all it once like in here... I learned the hard way that there's a character limit in that BR Custom Music thread...
@Diddy- Yep, my uncle's crackhead friend stole it one day and apparently pawned it off, too

This is a pretty damn good roster. Personally, I'd replace Mona, Porky, and Victini with Waluigi, Adam Malkovich and Zoroark, but I'd still be more than happy with this roster.

Tingle, Ghirahim and Sheik for LOZ is too gay for my tastes to. Either Tingle or Ghirahim out of those 3 would be fine to I feel.
I personally would like to see a few of those characters dropped to place Tiny Kong, Lanky Kong, Chunky Kong and maybe Boo

You know who would be an awesome Zelda rep? Skull Kid, the Majora's Mask version
I will concede that those 2 or more classic than lanky chunky and tiny. However lanky chunky and tiny's move sets practically write themselves most of them could be taken straight from the DK64 game I just figured they fit better based on thatLanky would be cool, but I'd vote for Kiddy or Funky.

Here's some food for thought.
Pummeling: Should it be removed in favor of grabs doing more health damage? That's all the pummel is really for so it wouldn't make a difference mathematically. Going along with the tech grab mechanic, this could make grabs better balanced.
Freezing: Instead of being randomly occuring like the IC's Down B, make it a counter attack bonus. In addition, the time frame for being frozen is fixed regardless of damage dealt and is not escapable via button mashing.

About that writing itself part, I would've liked more tail attacks for Diddy.
My gf just suggested the idea that Tiny, Lanky and Chunky were able to switch out in a similar fashion to pokemon trainer where you can press down b for instance and you jump in a barrel and switch out for another one of the three

A Tiny, Lanky, Chunky tag team sort of seems like a waste....I mean, DK64 isn't really that well liked, so it seems odd to put in all that effort just to bring its cast back together. That and the fact that the only one anyone cares about of those three is Lanky.

Agreed, especially when most of them just seem ike fan services. Mario, Pokemon and Zelda do not need that many slots in that roster.
I think Ike should be replaced, there's tonnes of great FE characters and even in his own game he wasn't the one and only main attraction.

Personally I like Ike and want him to stay he really isn't like any of the other characters and is well liked. I do think there are a lot of great characters who would be a lot of fun to play as in FE series though

I want Ike to stay to, and get revamped a bit, but I don't think its likely...

Ike is fine but should definitely be an after thought, so many good characters, we don't even have to stick to Lords. I'd hate to see 4 sword wielders in Sm4sh from FE. Take Marth and someone else. From there they can choose to add Roy and Ike in but that would mean the new FE char shouldn't be a sword wielder for the sake of diversity. They've got magic users, rouges, people who transform into animals. Everyone seems pretty hung up on Roy but personally I'd go for bringing something new to Sm4sh rather than favoritism and a bunch of similar builds.
Then again with two games we can split up the chars.
