Maker for 3DS.
Maker for 3DS wasn't good at all.

The big appeal of the game is making levels and playing other people's levels.

One of those two is VERY limited on 3DS, and downright impossible in 2020 because everyone's on lockdown.

there was nothing wrong with, hey pikmin, amiibo festival, happy home designer, triforce heroes and paper ham bros
>nothing wrong with amiibo festival

Guys, I think fog is from a different timeline than ours :p

What if Villager pockets the arm instead?
Unless they are counted as projectiles then they wouldn't be. They'd either be disjoints or classes as really long regular hitboxes, I'm thinking the former. That's barring arms like the ones that fire birds which could feasibly be a projectile but if it's only included prominently as an added effect through regular attacks, it'd probably still be a disjoint.

Any and all ARMS can be reflected if they connect with a Clapback or Guardian ARM, so...... I could see them be very unique projectiles.

I heard there was 100 original levels so until I get it cheap and play it myself, I don't know how it stacks up to other Marios

Can someone lists all the supporters for the characters?

I mean, Villager has an axe. If he wanted to pocket, I'm sure he could find a way :p

Given how comically large the ARMS are, and given ACNW current appalling lack of Nintendo themed items and furniture, I'm imagining incorporating and ARMS glove as an item in a way that isn't just a fist. Maybe it could be an ARM chair or something.

itd be so appropriate for there to be a series of furniture based on stuff that could be pocketed in smash

Yeah that could work. Those differences would be lack of being able to be pocketed etc.
And this would make their potentially obnoxious range a lot riskier depending on the matchup.

However, not every move would be reflectable. Only the ones that use the fact that ARMS are extendable.

It only reflects when hit with a shield-type ARM, which is why I have the thought they could be programmed similarly to a projectile.
Believe it or not the Clapback does not reflect actual projectiles in ARMS. The lasers from the Dragons or the Lokjaw's energy blasts don't get reflected. It seems like the Clapback just bounces back normal attacks. So no. Most ARMS are not projectiles.

What I meant to say is that the ARMS could be programmed similarly to a projectile in Smash due to the fact that they can be reflected in ARMS.

Of course they're not actually projectiles. I'm just saying I could see them try to include a reference to their interactions with Clapbacks in the Smash moveset.

Yeah, I see it being a similar nature to Buster Wolf being a hit-grab.

The Clapbacks seem to me like they'd be a sort of "lingering counter-state" in Smash Bros, almost as if it's a Tetrakarn/Makarakarn that you can hold out for a long time.

Just realized, today marks 2 months since the initial ARMS Smash reveal. And only a couple more days til we finally hit June.

The endgame is near

All things considered time's actually been flying by pretty quickly

My God it's been just 2 months?? I seriously thought we knew since like January even though it doesn't make sense because I remember the info drought that came after Byleth but holy crap

Theoretically, that could allow for mutliple ARMS characters with each costume being different victim but I think Headlok is more of a Final Smash.
Would have made a cool item in the base-game tho

If they really want to do a bunch of fighters all in one character' they could always put them on a Snakeboard.

It would be pretty cool if they somehow had the ARMS stage work on a 3D Axis and Snake Park would be one of the firsts I imagine. The only actual integral input which would no longer function to my knowledge is the control stick jump. Not that it would happen as they are 2 completely different games.

Thanks, now I'll be disappointed when that doesn't happen. :p

It got a lot slower to me once my higher-ups told me to stay home until further notice.

Damn guys. I'm really gonna miss all this attention ARMS has been geting since the Smash Un-reveal. I always thought the world and characters were fun and colorful. Hearing people get into deep discussions of said characters has been a real treat.

I do hope one of my favorites make it in 'cause I doubt we'll get a 2nd ARMS fighter in Smash for a VERY long time.

Yeah, in the meantime, other series will get fan support over ARMS. For ARMS, it's more or less a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. :ohwell:

Who? Also, get ready for people ****ting on ARMS like the heroes, Terry, and Byleth, but I love arms.
That already happened about two months ago. Without being playable. :079:

A second ARMS fighter ultimately depends on two things...

A) How successful the ARMS series becomes
B) How all-ecompassing the character's moveset is
