It kinda looks like Stoned Bambi is your spirit animal.Speaking of holding R characters though, can we get hold R on Olimar to remove his ability to pull Pikmin? Olimar no Pikmin is my spirit animal
I just wanted to say that I like your profile pic and Yu Yu Hakusho was amazing, I finished it last week .Are they still taking votes and sheet for this? If so here we go:
1. Issac- Don't think he's getting into Smash 4 and he needs to be in a smash game
2. Black Knight- Iconic Fire Emblem Villain, plus would be a more unique ike (teleporting and what not)
3. Skull Kid- He's just awesome
4. Andy
5. Red
1/2 Vote
Hector
Lyn
It's no problem. I would have put more effort into that post to make it seem less... rudely obvious but I was at work, with crappy service, and on mobile. Didn't really have a lot of time or the willpower to put up with crashboards on my phone.@ JCOnyx
Now I just feel like an idiot. I'm sorry. I completely missed that. I actually thought you were referring to me. I'm just having a really off day...
thanks man, It's hands down my favorite anime, I just redownloaded it and am gonna restart watching it for my fourth time through.I just wanted to say that I like your profile pic and Yu Yu Hakusho was amazing, I finished it last week .
NahDamn, missed on a lot of pages, was any vote count posted while im gone?
Good taste man.thanks man, It's hands down my favorite anime, I just redownloaded it and am gonna restart watching it for my fourth time through.
Zero did not appear in super smash brothers brawl and unfortunately is ineligible for the clone engine.Sorry if someone has already mentioned him, but I'm surprised Zero (from Mega Man X/Zero) isn't being considered in the first post. IIRC, he was one of the first new characters to get a moveset through PSA, and he's a fairly iconic Mega Man character, as well. I'd figure it would take very little effort to find a Zero mod, tweak it for Project M, and call it the "official" Zero.
And why i's thatEven if primid's vote count is 100% positive and having the most amount of approvals, he'll never be his own character (at least in pm)
Dear god, misconception! We can't have people talking about this thread as if we're caring people! You guys are so nice here!
Will that's ur opinionIm an ******* I dont give reasons, thats just how I feel
Pichu can be our smash four lucario, the more damage he has the stronfer faster and broken he gets!!Dear god, misconception! We can't have people talking about this thread as if we're caring people!

All i saw was an ugly ass guy doing and saying everything i said, look right at me with that stupid hair cut and..Did you know, if you turn off the bathroom lights, stand in front of the mirror, and say Pichu's name 3 times Saito will appear with a baseball bat and a bottle of hard liquor?
Fixed for all the thread's older regulars.Did you know, if you turn off the bathroom lights, stand in front of the mirror, and say Pichu's name 3 times trojanpooh will appear with a baseball bat and a bottle of hard liquor?
Sorry this is a bit late, but its cool man. I was having a very off day. I know you wouldn't go out of your way to be rude, especially towards another friendly member. It's no problem. Show of hands, how many of you played Brawl, cracked open an Assist Trophy, got this guy, watched him go HAM then disappear only to feel bad that he was better looking as an assist character than some of the full fledged characters in the active roster? Saki instantly jumped to the near top of my "assist trophies so good you wonder why the hell they aren't playable tier" (note: this tier is/was comprised of Lyn, Saki & Little Mac) the moment I first released him upon the field. The combination of fluid movement and mid-to-long range pressure was something I hadn't seen before and despite parts of his particular niche being present in Melee space animals, it wouldn't be until quite a few years later when I would discover the true potential this character could bring to the Smash roster by being its first practitioner of the "Gun Kata" style of combat. The basic idea of the gun kata fighting style is that one uses a firearm in combination with basic hand to hand offense to supplement the range of your attacks or add explosive and often deadly flourishes to your blows. On top of this, evasive movement and a good eye for positioning as well as engaging in long range fire fights are also key elements to the style. This mixture of hyper offense and seemingly composed style has been seen in many different incarnations through different media over the years. Some of the most prominent character examples include Christian Bale's character in the movie Equilibrium, the character of Dante in Capcom's Devil May Cry series and even in anime with characters such as Soul Eater's Death The Kid getting in on the fun.
The character that makes for the best base for Saki is Zero Suit Samus. She already possesses a highly malleable article in her Paralyzer's whip form and projectiles that could be used to replicate the functions of his Cannon Sword, has many of the same design decisions in her own maneuverability and acrobatics and even provides basic animations that could very easily be altered to suit Saki's improvised nature.
Inspirations: Saki himself from Sin & Punishment: Successor of the Earth, Isa & Katchi from the sequel Star Successor, Dante in Devil May Cry 3 & Marvel vs. Capcom 3
Character Attributes: Wall Jump, Double Jump, Gunblade’s range is vBrawl Marth’s Falchion range, Running speed on par with Project M Pit/ZSS; Pit's weight class with Roy's falling speed.
Character Specific Mechanic: "Gun Kata": Can cancel tilts, smashes and specials into either an explosive burst (think of a single hit version of suited Samus' forward aerial or up smash) or small short range spray of projectiles by using his neutral B gunfire special on hit.
Jab: Saki swings his Cannon Sword in an attempt to "pistol whip" the opponent once from left to right.
Jab -> Jab: Saki swings the weapon back in the opposite direction
Jab -> Jab -> Jab: Saki delivers a knee kick leaping slightly off the ground to do so (think Captain Falcon's third jab combo with a small hop to it.)
F-Tilt: Saki performs a roundhouse kick forward. This attack can be angled. (When cancelled into his Cannon Stream, Saki takes aim forward and shoots a stream of energy bullets forward.)
U-Tilt: Saki performs a slow double pinwheel kick upwards similar to Smash 4 Pit's U-Tilt. (When cancelled into his Cannon Stream, Saki points his Cannon Sword's nozzle upward and releases an explosive single hit blast that acts as the third hit in this combination)
D-Tilt: Saki crouches low and performs a long sweeping kick similar to Mario's D-Tilt. (When cancelled with his Cannon Stream special, Saki pulls out his weapon and fires at the grounded opponent)
Forward Smash: Saki swings his Cannon Sword's blade (now at full length) forward, out and downward in a wide arc. Think of Dante’s standing heavy normal in Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
Up Smash: Saki swings his weapon's blade above himself in a full body twirl animation similar to the fourth swing of vBrawl Marth’s Upward Dancing Blade Combo.
Down Smash: Saki twirls his Cannon Sword (the longer the charge, the longer the twirl) before firing a blast that explodes on the ground in front of him in a manner similar to Lucas’ down smash. Pressing A again after the initial shot has him turn around quickly and fire another such shot on the floor behind himself.
Dash Attack: Saki performs a sliding kick that sends opponents forward. (Does not pass through shields on block)
Neutral Aerial:Saki performs a flying kick. (Sex kick a la Fox/Falco)
Forward Aerial: Saki fires a blast of energy from his gun. Does decent knock back and can KO at high enough damage. (Think a single hit version of suited Samus' forward air.)
Backward Aerial: Saki performs a back kick similar to Fox's bair in vBrawl.
Upward Aerial: Saki performs an upward drilling kick similar in animation to Shiek's up-air but with Samus' up-air properties.
Downward Aerial: Saki spins while descending and shooting short range energy bullets downward. Think of Dante’s Rain Storm special move from Devil May Cry 3. The energy bullets have a small meteor attribute on them.
Neutral B: Cannon Stream: Press B to have Saki fire a short burst of rapid fire shots forward much like his Assist Trophy incarnation. While holding B, you can strafe and even change the angle on the attack. The stream of fire isn't infinite however and it's duration is similar to the short bursts performed by the AT version of the character. Holding the stream for the max number of bullets leads to a short cool down animation as Saki recovers from using the overheating weapon.
Forward B: Cannon Blast: Saki takes a shooting pose low to the ground and fires a single large blast of energy from his Cannon Sword's nozzle. On hit, this projectile explodes three times.
Downward B: Triple Swing: Saki swings his gun’s beam blade forward in three wide arc slashes. Each slash is triggered by a successive press of the B button while holding down. The first slash goes from left to right horizontally. The second slash returns from right to left. The third slash is a swift overhead from behind Saki forward. These slashes also have projectile deflecting properties similar to how slash attacks reflected projectiles towards opponents in the Sin & Punishment game series.
Upward B: Somersault Spray: Saki performs a fast flash kick while somersaulting into the air spraying weapon fire from his weapon's nozzle (again, think of Samus' forward air) that sweeps people up before hitting them with a powerful burst to finish. This maneuver is visually similar to the somersault gun fire used by Lady in Devil May Cry 3.
Grabs
Up Throw: Saki knees the opponent and while they are reeling, points his gun up under their midsection blasting them into the air with multiple shots.
Forward Throw: Saki pistol whips his opponent knocking them forward
Back Throw: Saki nimbly moves behind their back, points his Cannon Sword at their back and blasts them away casually & without looking back at them.
Down Throw: Saki pistol whips the opponent to the floor before blasting them (Think of Dante’s Wild Stomp from Devil May Cry 3) and kicking them, launching them into the air.
Smash 4 Boards are a lost cause, for now.Sorry this is a bit late, but its cool man. I was having a very off day. I know you wouldn't go out of your way to be rude, especially towards another friendly member.
I'm just furious of how hot headed the Lucina fans are over in the Lucina discussion thread. That place is a dangerous ground to tread. And I got tagged a warning by an admin for "flaming" another user. All I was doing was defending my point, and they weren't allowing me to do so. I can see why I got warned, but it is hardly even fair considering the circumstances against me. But whatever. It was my fault falling for flame bait I guess.
I too await the influx of ridley fans.Smash 4 Boards are a lost cause, for now.
Everyone should be hype together, instead everyone is hyped individually and if you bring something up the entire Smash community is suddenly butt hurt. Not to mention there's a lack of understanding over there. I swear some of them are 7.
I cannot wait until some smash newcomers are deconfirmed so those guys come running to this thread. That'll be fun.
I get ya. But what rubs me the wrong way is being told I'm not entitled to an opinion because I'm not directly a fan of Fire Emblem. And you all know for a fact I've been trying to give this series a chance.Smash 4 Boards are a lost cause, for now.

This is a really unique and interesting mechanic you've come up with here. I can see how it would work for the most part, and it really creates a new dynamic we haven't yet seen in a smash game. The closet thing would probably be Lucario's specials (specifically SideB) and activating their aura supers. I don't think there would be a way to make the shotgun spray be a true projectile though. This also doesn't sound incredibly difficult, but it would definitely be an undertaking nonetheless.Character Specific Mechanic: "Gun Kata": Can cancel tilts, smashes and specials into either an explosive burst (think of a single hit version of suited Samus' forward aerial or up smash) or small short range spray of projectiles by using his neutral B gunfire special on hit.
Not sure I would choose them over this fine dance floor devil~I'm curious as to what these guys would play like.
I dunno, Elite Beat Agent would be pretty hype. Never even played their game, but they look like they could be super fun. Jimmy T, of course, would be super freaking hype, too.Not sure I would choose them over this fine dance floor devil~
Edge knows Shin. Edge knows! THE POWER OF JIMMY T. CANNOT BE SILENCED BY EVEN SUITED DANCERS!!I've played Elite Beat Agents, and I love the game to death, man. Still, if we wanted a dance battler I'd personally go with Jimmy T.
The Elite Beat Agents would be awesome as an assist trophy though. In the game, they cheer other people on to motivate them enough to solve their problems, and if possible their assist trophy could basically power up the summoner, like doing more knockback or making them quicker for a while.
Still, disrefgard the above because the PMBR probably won't touch assist trophies until 20XX comes around ;p
Random thought: what if they came in as backup dancers for his Final Smash?Edge knows Shin. Edge knows! THE POWER OF JIMMY T. CANNOT BE SILENCED BY EVEN SUITED DANCERS!!
While we are at it, toss in Mirror B. Then we have a party.Random thought: what if they came in as backup dancers for his Final Smash?
Final Smash: Disco InfernoWhile we are at it, toss in Mirror B. Then we have a party.
Disco Inferno? More like NINTENDISCO!!! Amirite?Final Smash: Disco Inferno
A disco ball comes from the top of the screen and the stage turns into a Dance Floor. Every player is forced to taunt ("dance") as Jimmy T and his backup dancers show off their moves. At the end, light explodes from the disco ball and sends all the others flying, blown away by his skills. As the light from the explosion fades, the stage returns to normal.
I would main Jimmy T. if only to have a Pokeball afro. But seriously. Jimmy T. with Nintendo dancer alts would be friggen awesome. Imagine him in an Elite Beat Agents get-up, or Mirror B. He would have some of the game's best alts!!!
