New Character to be Shown Monday

I hope in Snake too, but to make an appearence like the G&W one. And Shulk after that Monolith retweet is almost confirmed.
What's that thing about Paper Mario, anyway?

Last Monday, Nintendo asked on facebook and twitter what is your favourite Paper Mario game with an image of him that I didn't see anywhere else. It's been awhile since they talked about it but big supporter like me freaked out just because of the acknowledgement. It's nice to see that but thinking that it's hinting at smash is mostly grasping at straws. But I still think that the pictures is... different. Here it is:

Anyway, I doubt a veteran will be revealed. They've put a lot of focus and hype around this one newcomer.

It would be badass if in the middle of the the match if Shulk gets picked how his ability to predict the future will be used, for example the controller can detect what your opponent will do based on his pulse and how sweaty his hands are and I ONLY say "his" because I've never known any girls who play Smash Bros.

A new character is a new character. I'll be happy for the fan base that gets them.

I just really, really, really want Isaac. He is the only character I want. Just. Him.

Sakurai did say they're nearing the end of the newcomer trailers they've prepared. That's not the same as nearing the end of newcomers. Not to mention Sakurai has stated that not all newcomers will get trailers.

If anything that could point towards there being more newcomers than the gematsu leak has mentioned.

Todays reveal implied that there's at least two more newcomer trailers, which would mean if the gematsu leak is all there is that only one newcomer (at this rate probably Chrom or Chorus Men) will not receive a trailer.

It's nothing solid, but something to chew on.

I don't know... If it's someone like Shulk, I'll definitely be happy, but also sad because that would lend more credence to the Gematsu leak. Hopefully there will be more outliers like Rosalina.

It's going to be one of the three Gematsu newcomers, I'm 100% sure about that.
If they're in, K. Rool and Ridley are probably unlockables and therefore secret.

I'm leaning towards Shulk but I want to say Chorus Kids.

Again, they aren't being revealed separately to build up hype, it's because Sakurai is running out of time.
If we get one character for July, August, and September, we'll likely have completed the Gematsu newcomers.

What about Isaac?

Isaac would be pretty cool, I'm not a big fan or supporter or anything, I've never played a Golden Sun game before, but I love his moveset potential and his fanbase has always come off as level-headed to me. He's probably the guy I'd rank as the 3rd best character they could pick at this point, behind K. Rool and Ridley (need that heavy weight villain first.)

You're right, characters aren't revealed to hype up games, Sakrurai does it because he wants to prove the Gematsu leak true, my mistake.

It's probably worth mentioning people affiliated with Xenoblade have tweeted about Smash before without any sign of Xenoblade content, like this tweet about the Smash Bros Direct.

Regardless, this guy's Twitter history seems to be entirely about Xenoblade according to you, unlike the other mentioned tweet, so it's pretty much a sure-fire bet that we're going to see Shulk.

I expected Shulk, Chrom, and the Chorus Persons to be secret characters. If this is Shulk, that will be interesting like that and raise questions about how the final roster is really going to look. If it's a non-Genmatsu charcter, well, everything will blow up. Should be fun!
