If anything dual type, it looks like it'll be a fire/psychic. notice in the video, it uses a psychic move and you know its not kirlia doing it because Fennekin clearly initiates the move while she flinches in pain.

I hear project M Ness is pretty bad by most people's standards. =(

Ooh, FOW against Leon in that pool, Shaky against PF, Pidge against mikehaze/salem and Red X against tin man (though this may be changed).

Some notable matches. Do any of these get streamed?

I went Ness/Kirby/D3/Jiggs/Peach/Pikachu at my last tournament.

Times like this I wish I could just make things easy and co-main MK or ICs

Yeah, I ;_; when i saw shaky vs. PF and it'll be pretty early on too. However, their pool isn't particularly tough and 4 people go through to bracket.

I'm sure both of them will do fine. ^^

@Pidge: True, but you also have to balance out better match-ups with character skills. For instance, when i first versed dre, I went Ness and beat him first round but he came back and beat me second round. ness has a +1 on Bowser.

Lucas on the other hand has a -1 against Bowser (though Lucases and Bowsers agree that should be 0) but when I went Lucas, I won.

So, just something to take in to account.

@Susi: The PSI kids are fortunate in having quite a few top players, or 'character heroes'. Ness has Shaky and FOW (and once upon a time, Yink), Lucas has Mekos, FAE and Pink Fresh, who we abbreviate as PF (again, once upon a time, Galeon was a top Lucas). ^^

My D3 does better against marth than my kirby. I have kirby:marth experience but almost no D3:marth experience.

It's the same story as pikachu:MK. I do alright in that MU despite Pikachu being a secondary, compared to ness:mk and kirby:mk. Sometimes the MU really does help.

Iirc 4 people make it out of round 1 pools. But then they have to escape harder round 2 pools where 2 people make it to bracket.

since theyre in the same pool they can negotiate and if someone is winning a lot then they cna let the other win the match if they verse each-other and then hopefully both get through
and theres a chance that they wont verse each-other at all depending on the position in the bracket
