@smash64: so do I..
@viper: uncharged or timed so that someone thinks you'll unleash it, but do so after someone dodges... Mindgames son...
@dajay: I wish that the fish you wish to have is delish. I must eat the fish with relish.

And where have you been, Mr. Coolbeans? Yeah, I'm talking to you, xoxokev! ):< Anyway, I have no idea what the heck is going on in here. It's always random. I wish I could be random when playing Smash.

I think I'll try that soon, maybe not on Mario, Lucas, or Pit but others I will. >=)

I can't be random because there is a 1/36 chance I'll be Sonic, the worst character in the game. I don't like those odds...
Of Sonic is the worst character in the game then why do I hate fighting him? )=

Because, "You're too slow!~" I'd rather fight Marth than Sonic. And PK Flash doesn't do good against characters that have good recoveries. :( So if Mario is recovering, just PK Flash! :) I brought him up because you only mentioned three characters and one that can't really do much about it.

I brought Mario up because I had a bad encounter with his Cape, and it wasn't pretty, but I get what your saying. Maybe I should start using PK Thunder and whip everyone with the tail when someone use their second jump or something. =P

I feel sorry for anyone who uses random and gets Sonic. But it happens, they know they have that 1/36 chance of getting Sonic... *shudders*

If I ever make a Custom Magicant Ness pack, I'm making teleport his running attack.

As for his recovery... infinite double jumps + djc lol.

Ness should have multiple jumps. At least three to the max. Does anybody doubt that Ness can fly? And thesage, that'd be cool.

Infinite double jumps would be really gay actually cuz you could just stall lol.

Ness' dj does kinda act like multiple jumps... i can't really explain it...

Anyways here's my idea for a custom Ninten .pac

Airdodge, Roll, and Sidestep make him invisible (4D Slip)

Physics: high sh, low dj, very slow, but has very good manueverability. Faster running speed than Lucas, but slower walking speed than him.

Running attack = teleport, Kill moveg

Fair = Ness' running attack with the bat
Dair: Much faster than Ness' dair, but sends people up for combos, doesn't spike.
Uair: Hitbox increased, move duration increased, last part of the move spikes.
Bair: Slow down, decrease kill power, remove sparkles, remove sourspot
Nair: Dunno.

All aerials have a lot of endlag except for fair

Jab = Ness' jab with the home run bat. Combos into grab
F-tilt = Ness' f-tilt with the home run bat
F-smash= Ness' f-smash with the home run bat sped up and weakend
D-tilt = Ness' d-tilt made to work like Kirby's
U-tilt = Leave it alone/ Slow it down make it a kill move/ replace with Ness' animation for a up angled f-tilt
Yoyos = transcendant priority, faster, combo moves

Side-b: throw boomerang (steal tl's side-b?)
B: Slingshot (uses Ness' jab animation to throw the projectile)
Down-b: Powershield/Lifeup combo (uses regular down-b animation, regens health, has super armor protecting him from projectiles, has tons of startup lag, but can be jc'd after some frames)
Up-b: I have no clue. If I do end up doing this I'd just do pkt2 aimed at a certain angle all the time, but it goes farther and has very little startup/ending lag.

Made to work with brawl+

If anybody has any ides for nair/ up-b that'd be great.

I'm thinking one up for Magicant Ness right now....

Pkt, but with immediate control in any direction... If you can, alter it to make sharp turns and so that when you start it up you can move it downward at some angle to immediately pkt2 in the opposite direction of where you controlled the pkt... It'll have the original brawl plus thing of being able to reuse pkt after it hits something... Pkt2 is distance of lucas' with the same effects as regular brawl... And pkt2 curveable.... If that is even possible. I would say keep pkflash if it starts out at few frames and moves from the center of ness... I like the magnet, but give I better wind properties... I would have to see what you mean in some cases, but otherwise it sounds cool thesage! I don't have b+, but I might consider it if you make that...

Nair... Go with normal nair, but bat extended hitbox, meaning something similar to tl's nair...

Boomerang doesn't make much sense to me...

I really am hesistant to give Ninten pkt or pk flash since he didn't have either of them in his game.

I think I'll make his up-b Quick Up and all it does is shoot him up really high in the sky, making up for his ****ty momentum and double jump.

btw Pkt1 isn't reusable in the air anymore in brawl+ now. Ness can now zap jump pk fire and aerials now though.

Nair... Go with normal nair, but bat extended hitbox, meaning something similar to tl's nair...
I'll check out the animation he does when he nairs and is holding a bat. You have to realize I can really only work with animations that currently exist. I can take off special effects (like sparkles) though.

Boomerang doesn't make much sense to me...
Ninten could equip boomerangs. Though thinking about it now I highly doubt I would be able to make this work... I think I'll change it to defense down, dealing a large amount of damage to shields, it's really fast, but deals barely any damage.

Don't expect me to have the time to start this up til december though lmao.

I say you should somehow give Ninten Ness' 64 nair, if it's possible now or in the future.

Also having an infinite dj code on in 64 is hilarious with Yoshi and Ness due to their djcs.

Hey guys, first time posting in Ness boards, but I read them quite a bit.

Quite a bit off topic, but I didn't want to start a new thread.
Does anyone use Ness' down throw? And if so, what do you combo right after it? I usually just Fair, but that just gets too predictable, anyone have any suggestions? :)

First off, welcome to the Ness boards. Secondly, I don't often use Ness' d-throw unless I can get my opponent into PK Fire. I tend to grab, f-throw and then do whatever else after that. If I do d-throw, though, I'll probably go for a fair. But sometimes I like to mix things up. Sometimes I'll go ahead and use PK Thunder or who knows, maybe something else?

If you look in Ref's guide (it's one of the stickies), EB360 has a smart post about how dthrow can be useful.

I personally use dthrow at low percents and follow with a fair or nair depending on their DI. Any higher percents I use fthrow or uthrow.

That sucks gayge, Ninten would be awesome with Ness' old nair. If it ever becomes possible (hackers come up with new, cool things everyday) you must do it!

You know what'd be cool? If Ness' PK Flash had the ability to blast vertically and horizontally when the PK Flash was released and the blast of these would go farther depending on how much it was charged.

Thanks. :)

Yeah, I've been trying to go for a PK thunder lately, and mix things up a bit.
It seems that it is one of the least expected thing to do.
I Fthrow pretty often but not at low precents, since when I dthrow I usually ending up doing more damage, due to what I can combo out of it.

Yea that's what I was thinking of.

I'd make down-b into powershield.

I am trying to think of more bat attacks...

I saw, and I'm just shocked. Ness's broken throws great PK Thunder recovery, will able to kill you in less than 10 percent with his spike and he's that low on that SSB64 list?!? THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!! D:<

At least Ness will go up in the new Brawl tier... (I hope so)
