I've always though that Ness plays like a more agile Ganondorf.

Ganon has no projectiles... And Not nearly as good of a recovery.

Fair enough. For me though, with Ness, like Ganon, you don't really have to go out of your way to kill. Kills just sort of come, you don't have to completely change your play when your opponent is at kill %, unlike some characters who you consciously have to go for the kill or your opponent will never die, like Samus, Diddy Kong, or Sonic.
