I JV 3 stocked my friend's Marth when I was pretty high, because I came very close to 0-to-deathing him first stock, I took like 7% from an untippered nair. It was just perfect read after perfect read, I had such powerful momentum it was amazing.

Ness' character is defined through NPC text in EB, personality wise they are pretty alike as far as growth goes if you look at that lol, as in certain NPCs comment on Ness being helpless/and so on yet end game they change their text for them.

Plus Lucas gets one of Ness' bats for his ultimate weapon, he can get a replica of his hat for head gear, and he gets the "badge of courage" for an accessory as well.

Oh and PK Love/Rockin works the same way, they both have a yin yang part to their story, in that Ness kills his dark side but Lucas is already pure but that power has a different role in his case with his brother.

(which btw is the "power of the earth" just given a different name but told once what it really is, still could be used for evil)

They also share the same basic roll in PK use (healing, but I'll admit they have a different secondary role with their PK).

Of course, this is all just theory so you are free to take it as it is, but at least I have info for mine from in game.

Well I was always under the impression that MOTHER 3 was several decades after EB. I figured the main 4 from EarthBound would've been long gone (or at least really old) by the time Lucas goes on his adventures and whatnot.

Because Porky's so old in M3, and I thought he was around Ness' age. I sort of took his age as an indicator of the amount of years between EB and M3. Coupled with Hinawa's supposed age them being brothers doesn't make sense to me.

Then again I'm a MOTHER scrub so this could all be very much incorrect.
