Guys, I was seriously thinking of quitting soon...not quitting Ness, just smash in general because I didn't think I had time.

But recently, I feel like I've been inspired to play more, Iowa doesn't really want me to stop playing and, well I really want to run more tournaments in the future (hoping mine will be pretty successful, but it sure looks like it will be).

So basically, I don't think I'm going to quit. I can make time, and I can do better because I believe I can. That, and I want to help all you other Nessers that want to get better too.

Just wanted to get that off my chest.

The sonic matchup is just a different matchup to learn, that's all it is for Ness. I've played X in person plenty of times, once you know what to do it's just like a normal matchup except you gotta have tons more patience and really step up your punishment game. But good job Shaky! Nice job getting 2nd in doubles again, I dunno how you guys do it, I'm Jealous. I think Falco may be Ness's 3rd hardest matchup (after marth then D3) but it's doable if your cards are played right I believe. I'm proud of Shaky for repping Ness so many times at MLG, wish there were more vids up of him playing. If there was an MLG in California I would definitely go. I got 5th at a 30 man tourney yesterday after good wins against strong metas and Diddy's so I'm still trying to rep ness too hehe.

I always felt that D3 was harder than Falco and Marth actually, a great D3 is ****ing evil. A single grab is going to add a lot of damage no matter what really, the guy lives forever, he can make approaching somewhat a ***** because of his Bair/babies/general reach in certain moves, you can make him come to you but that can be random really, and D3 does have a few really good KO moves.

Granted anyone who has mastered their game/character is ****ing evil for me because I hardly consider myself prime grade material at this game.

Though I do pretty much know about how to play on any stage/play as any character these days for at least a small point because that is one of the good things about having good online play (except the ICs, I can't get their chain grab down, but I do know how to play against them at least), but I just felt like talking about D3 there for a minute.

Also, what happened with Shaky now and glad you're staying around Yink

Dang Shaky 1 round off from making the Championship bracket. Good shiz Shaky.

Went to my first tourney since Apex yesterday, I love this game again.

Also made honorable mentions on my region's PR for the first time ever (took soooo long ><) and I'm celebrating with a few drinks but drinking alone is boring so I came here so I wouldn't have to be alone so someone drink with me :D.

Yeah, I'm starting to adjust to it, though the hardest part is getting used to the grab range, haha. At least Ness has some distance. Overall training is still going good, and to anyone that offered, online friendlies would be a blast, my code is on the left, just a quick shout if you add me.

Also, it's been awhile since I've picked up a book to read, I always feel like I'm in the middle of too much stuff to sit down and enjoy a book.
