Love the platform canceling. It's so smooth, I love how Ness' full hop is perfect for it. This is something I need to master.
STOP F***ING MOMENTUM CANCELING WITH UAIR!
Worst aerial to use. In order of best to worst: nair, bair, fair, uair, dair. But at least dair auto fastfalls for you, despite having slightly worse frame data then uair. Start momentum canceling with nair + fastfall PLEASE...
Other than that, pretty standard Ness ****. Luckily those two weren't doing a lot of grab release shenanigans, all Pit did was gr to dtilt a couple times but he fthrow'd the majority of the time.

You know what I realized the other day? I'm absolutely horrible with ness. I know his metagame so well though xD
Anyway, i've decided to stop playing him competetively but for fun i still will. But i'll still
be around here contributing stuff, (minimal activity threads i'm looking at you...) i just won't be playing as him anymore

Yeah i think some of the reasons im so bad is because
A) My pkfire game is terrible (mainly timing errors though, just can't get them down)
B) pkt game is adequate but not insane (it needs to be)
C) dtilt/utilt. I just can't get my fingers to change from a slam to a soft up, and dtilt i just always forget about.
D) i just can't incorporate all the stuff i know into my game very well, i know ness so well though!
I ain't goin anywhere though, ness is da shizz, and the ness boards need all the life they can get xD
(speaking of which, community guide and mu discussions havn't been posted in for a while...)
and yeah eagle, double dtilt is ****!

Yo Barty, remind me how to platform cancel so smoothly. It seems I can only perform it if I cancel with a shield. It'd be nice if I could cancel smoothly into a walk or into other moves like you do. What inputs do you do?

I use the c-stick for platformcanceling (with dair)
Just practice it a bit and try to get it into your game =)
