I never posted up in the Ness boards even though I have been playing since the game came out. You will be seeing way more of me.

I entered a school-run tournament and got 2nd in teams with this random guy and 4th in singles. This one guy played random pretty well. xP or maybe i just need practice.
I beat a Marth who resulted to the GR dumb stuff, but he wasn't really super-pro. I miss Akashi and oro, 'cause they can actually beat me pretty good.

The rules were f***ed up, so it's not even worth posting details. They had one-game matches, which is ********.

nah, they actually followed fairly normal rules... the only thing is the stage list was pretty minimal (no RC, Brinstar, and maybe like 9 stages total), and due to time it was like "only 1 game matches until finals."

I was a bit angry at that, but I really SHOULD have gotten 1st. >.< this one guy playing random won. He beat this guy playing MK with BOWSER. and LUCAS.

2nd singles in another school tournament. <-- this one was the only one with actual good people attending.

Ripple goes to my school. Ripple got beaten by Chewy (stupid single-elim... >.<) and I lost to Chewy 2-1. I could've potentially won it, but I SD'd at the start....

Chewy played ICs.

Eh, this one was alright. Had a hotly contested match for 4th which I dropped at the end (accidental side smash ). Wouldn't have been able to take the 2nd or 3rd people, but oddly I'm actually about even with the 1st place guy. Funny how that happens.

I had to vs. Cheese first round of bracket, BUT I HAD THE POTENTIAL TO BEAT HIM IF I HADN'T SUICIDED ONE STOCK AND GOTTEN GRABBED THE OTHER LAST GAME!!! and b/c of Kain's pool seeding being low, I played Legan in losers immediately afterward. I would've loved to play his Link again, b/c they would've been epic and fun matches as they were in pools, but he went ZSS and rocked me.

Also, WHERE IS SHAKY!!! I NEED HIM TO TEACH ME NESS vs. ZSS!!! DAT NICK RIDDLE!

I need to work on Tech Skill (I kept messing up dropthrough BAirs at the worst moment and using FSmash instead) and I need to work on not getting predictable/repetitive. I work myself into a rhythm a lot.... I've gotta start using the aerial I hate the most... FAIR!!!! OH HOW I HATE USING FAIR!!!

This tournament my notable win was against Lycan (5th on Las Vegas PR). He had me beat in our 3rd game cause I gimped myself at like 0 but then (after the match) he told me he started thinking about who he was going to play after he beat me. Problem was that he hadn't quite finished me off and you don't sleep on a determined Ness so I somehow made a mad gay comeback and won the set. Good lesson for my friend Lycan. I also beat a ROB main named Maize who is pretty damn solid.



Oh, and my girlfriend of 3 years dumped me like the day after the tournament. Let that be a lesson to you kids, place higher than 17th or get your *** dumped

Ended up beating Toronto Joe and Meekspeedy in WF and GF with Tin Man as my partner, was legit a lot of fun

Got singles and doubles results comin soon but both are rather mediocre, got kinda screwed in bracket in singles, and dubs was kinda lulzy on top of not going that well XD

And keep the Ness results coming, good or bad, with vids if you can, it's a real good way to improve and see how much you've progressed

I'm actually much happier with my performance in the second tournament. I got my first tournament win during it (I had a bye in my previous tournament) and I felt I played better overall. It was just unfortunate that I had to go up against Will round one and then I got beaten by a Wolf later on. In my first tournament I was pretty much nervous the whole time I was playing. That and I had to go up against my friend which really sucks.

Just got back from Anime North, had an awesome time helpin to run the Melee and Brawl tournies as well as meeting a bunch of newcomers and helpin new people get into the scene
