This tournament was my pride of the year. I've been against BJay at the semifinals (Best french Marth on Brawl)...I've lost 2-0, but I removed 2 of his stocks in each match (3stock-battles). WITH NESS. YAY !
Can't wait for the videos to be uploaded...

The only Ness in France that I've heard of. I would say all of Europe, but then there's Vilness.

I've heard of MrGcube from UK too, but never saw him playing, and it looks like he's only playing online.
In France, it looks like a lot of Ness/Lucas/Peach players are appearing "because of" me, Glarion and Léon. That bothers Léon somehow who sometimes switch to Marth, but well.
For the rest of Europe...I don't know.
(Léon = Peach player who won the last 5 offline tourneys in a row here).

And actually, I sucked at the Bushido Impact 9 (biggest Brawl tourney in France), but I still don't know how I ranked, as Blad01 is having problems to get the tio file. I've been against 2 Falcos, 2 G&W, 2 Snakes and one Metaknight...It was annoying.

I do feel good about beating the final opponent despite him using Marth's grab release on me :laugh:

You can report the St. Paul one. But don't bother reporting the South dakota one because the tournament host hasn't put up full results. (And probably won't)

A lot of these darn ness mainers didnt send um in, so being the nice guy I am I did it for them.

I placed 9th recently at a tourney. I could've placed 5th had I switched places with somebody else X_X.

We can always place higher... stuff just keeps happening to us. Thesage got switched, Ademisk lost his ride, Ref got in to stage mishaps, etc.

Why do we have such bad karma?

I didn't get switched. Just that an Ike main that I went pretty even with (we took turns two stocking each other in friendlies) placed fifth.

Not that the tournament really mattered that much anyways. It was a gaming convention so there were a lot of noobs.

I also get into bad venue mishaps. Like dusty basements laggy t.v.s too.

Laggy tvs really affect me. Especially while I'm playing melee. Brawl not so much (only when I play Ness).

Its amazing, right? Being busy+ trying to actually play brawl irl with the little spare time you have instead of just talking about it leaves little time for smashboards + AiB. Ive recently made a revival though :p

Yeah it's not so impressive but I had to face bum like 2rounds into winners then he won and sent me to losers... Regardless I had to face a snake who camped a ton, and also did nothing but grab releases too...

That's why it's labeled something.

No I actually just still need to learn the snake vs. Ness match up...

Counterpicking characters is a sign that you lack skill in an area with you character. I refuse to switch until I make skill in that area.

And If I have my off days I can always play other characters, not as near well as my Ness though. There are a few that I'm horrible with though.
