You'll probably still say d-smash or u-throw. >_< Calling out names like that, it kind of does make them sound like ATs. Still, if you want to, you can. You know, because using these terms loosly could throw off your opponent.

Ness main: "Better watch out for that Giant Step, son! I'm going to Giant Step you!"

Random main: "What the hell are you talking about?"

Ness main: *down airs his opponent to oblivion* "AHHH! Didn't see that Giant Step coming, did you?!"

I give you my word, give it two months of people actually trying to use this stuff in conversation... it won't stick.
I know it's being a downer, but. . . this is the kind of stuff character boards get mocked for. We should stop the diversions and freaking play the kid. We could have come out of this with a toolset to aid discussion IRL and make us more hyped about getting our Nesses out there. Code words like murder choke make it easier to talk about Ganon at a tourney; we have not done the same here.

In two weeks, if I just have recordings from the tournament I'll go to, I oughtta straighten our boards out myself. Lord knows Ref won't do it.* And our actual placing guru MTR seems - and this is fine - content to lead purely by walking the path. Uffe. . . is spared my judgment, for now.

Its not like people can constantly make discoveries and new strategies for Ness. There's certainly nothing wrong with a fun thread every now and then. Guides are still being completed now with the matchups and moveset discussion in which strategies and techniques for moves can be discussed.

I plan on going to a tournament soon as well anyways.
