No, this is coming from a guy who's well aware of Ness's terrible chances of returning, if I tell you that Ness is out is because you don't provide any good reasons as to his return, now, his terrible chances are something you can't accept, but please, I love how you ignore every single person that asks you for a good reason for Ness to return, you should at least have the dignity to respond to that before you fail even harder than you've already have.
I answered this already... Go back a few pages and you will see my reasons..
or go to the Ness support thread for more reasons from me and others..

I see before you finished you insulted me again.. nothing new there.

I'm sorry, I didn't know that Sakurai not having deconfirmed Ness 100% or that he could be a clone or return as an unlockable were good reasons.:p You've provided 0 reasons, so stop lying.

Good point, Sakurai didn't Deconfirm him 100%. Your absolutely right.. heck Sakurai did not deconfirm him at all.

So your saying he has a 10% chance of getting in, Well.. thats still a chance, and atleast your not being completely bias about it.
Yeah well even master chief has like a .00000000000000001% chance because unless he flat out says "this guy won't be in" they have a chance. But the statement in the lucas special moves greatly decrease his chances.

Actually master chief has 0% chance.. As he never appeared on a Nintendo Console.. which is a requirement to get in brawl.

Uh... what?
He's saying that; because Luigi was in SSB and SSBM despite having similar moves to Mario. This could be the same case for Ness except for the fact that, to my knowledge, Ness wasn't even suppose to be in SSBM, it was suppose to be Lucas but Ness was put in since Mother 3 was delayed.

okay the reason i said that about master chief is what if by some chance they suddenly announced Halo for wii. And I know that will never happen so don't "That won't happen" me. Also he probably has .0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001%
divided by 99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999. Also to punchline 2 things clones are supposed to be out. And I was talking about the statement that no one seems to belive even though its sakurai's exact words.

Yeah, a number that small would equal zero. There's some theorem that proves that.

you keep on speculating about this crap, I'm off.

Eh? Why are you still here? I thought you were leaving, or "off" as you put it.

I'm pretty sure there is no such theorem unless you made it up because numbers continue forever both up and down.
No, there definitely is. It's like as something approaches a number it equals the number, or something. All I know is that 0.9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 = 1 because the distance between the numbers is so small.

Yes, he might be confusing it with the .9 repeating being equal to 1.
It's possible, but I'm not sure, and I'm not gonna take any of your words for it.

No, no, no. It's not equal because it approaches, you're thinking of an asymptote.

Here's one of the many proofs for that, just to prove my point.

Let 0.9(repeating)=x
Let 9.9(repeating=10x
9.9(repeating)-0.9(repeating)=9
10x-x=9x
9x=9
x=1
Therefore, 0.9(repeating)=1

great now i can't think good anymore. Lets just drop math forever it's getting off topic.

Sorry but I want to know your reason for believing Ness will return. Because the site says "There’s a character named Ness who has appeared in the Smash Bros. series up until now". "Has appeared" implies the past or that which already occurred. "Up until now" means before now but no longer. So it is saying a character appeared in smash in the past but no longer is appearing. that phrase in quotes is copied and pasted from th Dojo. I say this with all due respect.
Poor reading comprehension skillz you got there.

"up until now", where 'now' means halfway through development of the game means that Ness has been in Brawl all this time.

Also, "up until now" only says that he has been in before 'now', it doesn't say anything regarding after 'now'.

In conclusion, that one sentence doesn't confirm he's out.
If anything, it's a hint, nothing more.

If Ness is confirmed, Show Me Your News will have to post a massive retraction statement to one of their previous episodes.

This leaves room for more Mother (3+?) characters, such as Kumatora or Duster or even Claus. I think it's a welcome change, even though I will miss Ness dearly.

I want you to prove that it actually means that.
The proof is in the actual sentence, it's very basic reading comprehension... or in one word: context.

Now, I'm not saying it confirms that Ness is in, because it could easily be the remnants of poor translation. But at least it means that sentence alone doesn't confirm that Ness is cut.

That was exactly what you were saying and it's not reading comprehension, you people clearly interprete the quote to your own benefit, if anything it means more that he's out that he's in, if it's not thorough enough for you.

Can you give me another example of what 'now' refers to in that sentence?

Either it refers to the state of development, which means Ness was/is in Brawl.
Or it refers to this instalment of the series, which means Ness was in previous Smash games.

That's the only two ways to read the sentence. And neither of them confirms he's cut... nope, not even the second one. Since it doesn't state anywhere what happens after 'now'.

Example:

If I said "I have always liked cows up until now", it only refers to whatever happened before 'now', that I liked cows.

It doesn't automatically mean that after 'now', I don't like them anymore.

That's assuming something that's not actually stated.

But hey, we can argue all we want... let's just accept that the statement has gone through some rough translation, and might not hold the exact same message anymore.

I agree that there is a chance that Ness will be cut, but to state his removal as confirmed is a little silly, that's all.

I never said the quote deconfirmed him, but it definitely doesn't mean he's in and while you're at it you may as well look up the meaning and use of the phrase "until now", cause you clearly haven't the slightest idea.

"Until now" has more than 1 use. As indicated in the Lucas profile, and Handicap updates.
